First off, nobody has suggested natoinal HEALTH CARE. The subject is some form of NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE. Constantly mis-characterizing the issue to something that it's not is just more propaganda in favor of the broken health insurance industry. Given a rational health INSURANCE policy that covers all Americans the cost per citizen will be far lower and far more inclusive than what we have now. Will it be 'free'? No...There will be a cost, but less than it is now and there will be the usual co-pays and deductables. Any politician who isn't for a single payer national HEALTH INSURANCE policy isn't you friend....He or she is the friend of a totally outdated and ineffective system.

U.S. will probably never have free healthcare. kind of funny when we are supposed to be what every other county should strive to acheive and we cant even take care of our citizens but illegals can come over and we give them free healthcare - go figure! My girlfriend has medical condition and cant even get it!
