All empires fall from dominance at some point. The Romans were once the most powerful. Spain had a time of dominance after discovering the "new world". The British were extremely powerful because of their unmatched naval superiority. Now the United States is considered the most powerful country in the world. But that will come to an end some day....very likely sometime in the next half century as you can already see the seeds of our fall from dominance taking root. I think we are already on the journey to the end (not from existence, but from dominance). We are largely coasting on the momentum of our former greatness.
We can talk about deficits and the dollar falling, but the real culprit is the people. Our population is increasing in self-centeredness and ignorance (or am I just getting smarter? ha ha) and decreasing in wisdom and morality....the perfect environment for corruption to flourish.

So who do you think will be the next superpower? Why?

I mean, really, his name is Barack Hussein Obama. Sound familiar? Yeah, Osama and Hussein (some of the "big guys" in the history of terrorism).

He also used alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine when he was younger. Do you really want a junkie and an alocoholic for President?

if you don't believe me, here is the source:

It is under Early Life & Career, in the second paragraph, and last sentence.

I've been seeing this guy for a few weeks now, and spent most of our time together during memorial day weekend. now he's back doing his job and seems rather busy, like almost every day, going to conventions, meetings, fundraisers, etc. Is anyone familiar with this type of job? Is it possible that he's that crazy busy? He travels alot too, is it possible to have a relationship with someone that is constantly busy? He's told me before that the reason why he didn't have a girl is because he's always busy and they think something otherwise. But I want to be with him, and I want him to know that I understand that he is busy, so will he appreciate my patience? Is anyone else in this type of relationship? And should I just wait until he asks me to hang out again, which means he's not busy?

They SAY they attack and kill people because they're infidels, not because of specific Bush's foreign policies.

Agree with his policy, disagree with it, think it's stupid, think it's great.

Like him, dislike him.

But it's gotten to the point where if they had a roach problem in the White House and he called the Orkin Man, some on the Left would say "oh, no, leave the roaches alone" or "he's creating more roaches by spraying them."

In the 7th century a pedophile claimed to be a prophet, got some followers but mostly was laughed at, and when he had enough followers he told them, kill anyone who does not convert to our religion or pay us a jizya. He wrote a manifesto commanding the same behavior. And hundreds of thousands of people follow it literally, and hundreds of millions support it though they don't live it, today.

And if the US disappeared today, they wouldn't stop killing infidels everywhere else.

Wake up, folks - the threat is real.

It seems to me that most Conservative/Christian leaders in America are hypocrites by being against abortion but for the death penalty.
The ten commandments clearly states that it is wrong to kill, so why do they support it?

I know we all pay our taxes through withholding, except what we earn through investments - - - but you file your return, reminding you of how much it is in total, in April.

Anyone else think that if the country was founded on the link between taxation and representation, we ought to vote when we just filed or just started working on our tax returns, so that what we're paying will be on our minds?

The Massacre at Baldat al-Shaikh:

January 30-31, 1947(Palestine) : This massacre took place following an argument which broke out between Palestinian workers and Zionists in the Haifa Petroleum Refinery, leading to the deaths of a number of Palestinians and wounding and killing approximately sixty Zionists. A large number of the Palestinian Arab workers were living in Baldat al-Shaikh and Hawasa, located in the southeast of Haifa. Consequently, the Zionists planned to take revenge on behalf of fellow Zionists who had been killed in the refinery by attacking Baldat al-Shaikh and Hawasa.1
On the night of January 30-31, 1947, a mixed force composed of the First Battalion
of Palmakh and the Carmelie brigade (estimated at approximately 150 to 200
Zionist terrorists) launched a raid against the two towns under the leadership of
Hayim Afinu'am.]2 They focused their attack on the outskirts of Baldat al-Shaikh and
Hawasa. Taking the outlying homes by surprise as their inhabitants slept, they pelted
them with hand grenades, then went inside, firing their machine guns.3 The terrorist
attack led to the deaths of approximately sixty citizens inside their homes, most of
them women, elderly and children.4 The attack lasted for an hour, after which the
Zionists withdrew at 2:00 a.m., having attacked a large number of noncombatant
homes.5 According to a report written by the leader of the terrorist operation, "the
attacking units slipped into the town and began working on the houses. And due to
the fact that gunfire was directed inside the rooms, it was not possible to avoid
injuring women and children."

Seriously. People have died in wars in the past, the only difference is every single step is broadcasted during prime time television in living color this time. War is hell, war is ugly, and we were never meant to see it. I think the media should have stepped aside a long time ago and people like Geraldo Rivera should never have been allowed to stand on our front lines and broadcast live from the desert. Besides the fact that it's morbid at best, it's also putting our own soldiers in danger. It's naive to think Americans are the only ones with access to this programming.

But, that being said, the media loves to put their own spin on things. Things are distastefully edited at their leisure, with opinions instead of facts spinning a wicked web on the scene before us. When biased opinion seems to fill the everyday lives of people, some people start to take on these opinions themselves. It's called media brainwashing.

I know liberals that refuse to even allow their kids to watch GI Joe cartoons because they believe it is propaganda from the Reagan administration geared at getting soldiers to kill innocent victims. Apparently the message of "stay and fight until the job is done" and "GI Joe never gives up" and "GI Joe defends freedom" means little to these people. Are all liberals extreme pacifists, or is there something they will fight for? It seems like they are so courageous when it comes to burning an American flag and mocking my country, yet are surprisingly morally weak and cowardly when it comes to defending freedom and fighting for what is right and just in the world. I guess to a liberal it takes more guts to burn an American flag in Manhattan where you could face a $50 fine for protesting without a permit than actually standing up to Islamic fascists and enemies of democracy. Thank you liberals, for showing me everyday what type of people you really are.
