I worked for a guy for 6 years who paid his employee''s to go vote . Start time at work was 7:am so we needed to be in line at our precinct by then . He never mentioned who to vote for but did want everyone to vote .

The reason there are long lines at Democrat Precincts, is because, in many places, it's the same people voting over and over.

Because the parties have become so ideoligically entrenched that they do not represent the average American.
Most Americans are fiscally and politically conservative and socially liberal.
But the DEMS are liberal across the board and the REPUBS are conservative across the board.

I saw someone last night use the phrase "Scoop Jackson Democrat." Could such a thing exist today?
Could any DEM president create the Special Forces (like JFK did)?

Why not do old Ross Perot's idea of having it on the first weekend in November, like the French do? You have two days to vote on what are traditionally non-working days instead of a paid day off concept.

Does the common American think of? maximum criticism you hear with regard to the tea occasion is robust out of a few speaking heads mouth and is regurgitate advert nauseum.
