If you believe we are creating more terrorists, what do you suggest we do when we get attacked?

Sit on our hands? If we fight them we are creating more. If we don't fight them they kill our people and attempt to destroy our economy. How in the world do we win?

Not at all, we're just helping some truly ignorant people define their life's work and then we delete them from the gene pool asap.

I have lived in the region and traveled the world and *anyone* who believes (believes, not thinks) that they will leave the US and the world alone or that talking with them will help them be nice, is misinforming you or seriously misinformed (the useful idiots).

Thought experiment proof of the above point of view:

Take a committed person (liberal or conservative), tie him/her to a chair and talk to him/her until he agrees with your opposing political view.

Libs probably dream of having Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc in the chair; Cons probably Hillary, Pelosi, or Alan Colmes, etc.

Won't happen, probably even with moderate 'torture.'

Now think - how likely is conversion by reasoning (talking) for a radical religious zealot willing to die for a cause and who thinks murdering innocent children is acceptable.

Get real folks, you can talk softly but not only do you have to have the big stick in your possession, you have to be willing to show it or even use it.

The way to deter terrorism is not to strike at the terrorist, but at things that are fundamentally necesary to thier cause.

Find the people responsible and kill them.
Bin Ladin.

Protect our borders and use the CIA. If millions of illegals can get in, what is to stop a terrorist? Infiltrate their cells with covert operations, terrorists attacks are not stopped by tanks. Direct military force creates more terrorists.

I find it unbelieveable that there are some idiots who prefer that we recall all of our troops home and fight the terrorists on our home soil. Should this ever happens, it would only be fitting that the enemy take the fight to their neighborhood, not mine.
