Bush's man Gates I think a better choice if he had tried to get someone who knows the region and people and how they think. they might be able to get the fractions together and have them come to some sort of agreement. Or a man by the name of Colin Powell who would know how to handle the way the war should be handled.

Whatever has he done, is for the nation. Everyone does to the best of his/her ability, but still Bush is being attacked day in and day out.

If the United States were to go into N.Korea and removed Kim Jong-Il, will they face a lot of resistance from rebels much like in Iraq or would majority of the people be happy to have the dictator removed and a democracy set up? Oh and also no more communism?

Johnson & Bush... Vietnam and Vietnam II. Texas is the problem. Let's agree to keep Texans out of the White House forever. Deal?

I honestly want to know, because I don't know much on this topic. I was just wondering about communism. I know It has a TON of flaws and would never work, but why are people so afraid of it. afraids prob. the wrong word, but like if someone says something wrong people are like, hes crazy...hes prob. a communist, or stuff like that. Besides being a flawed type of goverment what makes people hate it so much?

You know, the kind of rebate where you have to cut out the UPC symbol and serial number, then wait 8-12 weeks for a $50 rebate? I had a card returned today that said I did not get my rebate because I sent in the wrong thing. I hate rebates!

Isn't a democracy suppose to have more than 2 major parties? (oh yeah independent- that makes three). I have textbooks and books from years ago and looking at books now things have been reworded. I thought a democracy was three or more parties? Oh and I also thought the people make a democracy? Is it me or does it feel like sometimes as a country we as the people are being heard?

The honest response to criticism should be something like "you're misinformed", or "you're misinterpreting the facts", but not name-calling. The scary thing is that the public seems to buy these bullcrap responses and our media and politicians pander to them.

The liberal mantra has been "Bush lied people died." The public voices of the far left are heard not from the military, the business world, or government, but from comedians and entertainers like Jon Stewart and Al Franken. These people have no credibility; they make jokes for a living.

Now comes the hard part. The libs are in power. Have we heard any real ideas? Are jokes and SNL skits going to win in Iraq, provide jobs, keep the economy strong? The lack of intellectual thought from the left is disturbing. Feel free to prove me wrong by telling me what changes the left will make to better OUR country.

All the precedents are in place and now all we need are the bunkers and the comforting thoughts that we will follow in the revered footsteps of Rommel, Eva, Goebbels, Goering and Himmler. How could we possibly be expected to do less for our Bush when asked to do so for the fatherland?

Of course Dick Cheney and his charming wife Agnes could also give the order to bite down in the last days...
