What do you mean what will be his legacy? He's not dead yet, very far from it! Altho' Cuba will mourn his passing I do believe it will carry on the Revolution as before. Cuba is not just one man, very far from it, it is all the Cubans together on what happens and what gets done. The Revolutions of the past have always been started, fought and won by all the people of Cuba. They have been maintained by the people of Cuba. Cuba exists for Cubans. And altho' President Fidel Castro has/is a formidable person in the grand scheme of things of Cuba he is a very small cog in a rather large wheel. But once that cog has gone the wheel will keep turning regardless. The sun always shines for Cuba, whether or not President Fidel Castro is there or not.

He is not dead yet. But he is close to it.
Hi legacy is his leading the people the way he did.
The way he thumbed his nose at his northern neighbor, USA.
The way he conducted himself in a dignified way during Missile crisis when Kennedy gave him ultimatum.

However, his people are suffering right now because US is not doing business. Once that darkness is lifted, sun will shine again on Cuba.

That depends on were you are from. the Cubans may actually like him because he managed to keep them out of war, although he did screw them over. Americans of course will hate him for one reason or another. history will probably be pretty rough on Castro because he was a communist dictator, but for a dictator he wasn't that bad. I do not condone i his philosophies though
