I am a born&raised New Yorker, and, even after I relocated to Florida, I still considered Rudy to be one of the best mayors anywhere, even BEFORE 9/11. He had a way of cutting through the bs and helping to get the city back on track. During the 9/11 aftermath, he was the glue that held NYC together. I don't agree with his politics these days, but I will always be grateful for the leadership he showed in those very dark days.

I have to admit...I am a democrat, but Guiliani did a great job post 9/11..He was there with the people...An amazing sign of courage...When New Yorkers needed reassurance that they were going to be okay... He is a very attractive candidate for President...

Most of them liked him for his style of appearing to be one of them. He is very good at public relations, also the money people loved him for cutting taxes and services to the poor and homeless. I find it very disgraceful that he is profiting from the tragedy of 9/11, he has fast become a multi-millionaire from his phoney Homeland Security company. One of their subsidiaries sold the faulty Taser guns that have resulted in several deaths. I think it should be illegal to profit from the 9/11 tragedy. He couldn't even run for senator in NY, he will never be nominated for President, he's only running for the money.

Of course they do.

Democrats outnumber Republicans 5 to 1 in NYC, and he was elected twice. That is very good for a politician.
