Because we need your money to fund socialized medicine, mandatory abortions, support for flag burners, shelters for illegal immigrants, homes for terrorists, priests to administer gay marriage rites, the paychecks for the liberal media, secret payments to the ACLU and a host of other programs we haven't told you about. Thanks for your contributions.

The reason you can't keep all of your paycheck is because the government provides you with services, do I need to tell you what they are? Bush has basically been printing money...that's why a few months ago he quit having M3 counted (all the money in circulation). The dems will help you to earn that paycheck by turning back the unfair trade agreements. Hopefully they can change what is taxed, for instance gas should be heavily taxed as it would reduce consumption and bring down the price of oil so that we will lessen out enemies source of funds. At the same time we could have BIG tax incentives for vehicles that use advanced technology to reduce fuel consumption. When will you ever get sick of fat cat oilmen and slimy arabs getting rich off us and using those funds to terrorize us?

Yes your right,, You cant keep a hard earned paycheck ,, but more less when the republicans are in office.
examples
Higher gas prices for one, Higher insurance rates, Higher interest rates, Highest inflation rates since the 70s. Highest rate of people not even getting a paycheck in a decade.
So when you think that a token tax cut is helping you, and that's your version of economic freedom, Consider your other expenses that have been affected by failed conservative policys.

You can keep much of it. We live in a representative democracy, and liberals as well as conservatives have voted to tax you to fund various projects.
Liberals do not oppose economic freedom. I think the libetarian/conservative style of economic freedom is best exemplified by open air drug markets and the attendant drug wars. Regulations came into being to protect each actor in a transaction. In our society, the corporate power is so vast that workers have no meaningful economic freedom and this is not related to taxation at all. in fact, taxation is the only way to redistribute and redress the imbalances inherent in unfettered capitalism.
perhaps, tho, if you ever get disabled, you'd rather not get a social security check. or, if you die young, you'd rather your kids not get a social security check. or, perhaps, you don't care to have roads that get you from one end of the country to another or internet access in the most remote locations.
your hard earned paycheck will go much further with taxation than without.

oh how cute! another Rush Limbaugh moment. here let me disabuse of you your misapprehensions. liberals are not opposed to economic freedom. liberals simply believe that economic freedom shouldn't just be for the mega corps and the mega wealthy.
i'm not sure who you think is suppose to pay for that nearly NINE TRILLION DOLLARS of national debt the US owes (mostly to communist China) but news for you, bubba ... it's you, you and your kids, grand kids and probably your great grand kids.
any moron knows you can't maintain an expensive occupation of a foreign country while simultaneously giving huge tax breaks to mega corporations, Big Oil and the obscenely wealthy. the neoCONs tosses Regular Joe a couple of hundred bucks but then state taxes rise because the Fed cut state funding and the cost of living soars as goods transportation gets more and more expensive. Regular Joe struggles as Mr. CEO and his golfing buddies smugly toast to their great good fortune. Mr. CEO and his golfing cronies don't worry about the ridiculous cost of health care or having to buy $3 loaf a bread or trying to find college tuition for their child. they don't have to worry because they have economic freedom. the fact that you're stressing out over taxes affecting your paycheck tells me you aren't one of these economically free people. but why are you point fingers at liberals is a mystery. liberals seldom advocate raising and spending your tax dollars on corporate welfare or to have you picking up the financial slack for all those big tax cuts for the nation's ever getting fatter fat cats.

That is exactly what you have. A hard earned paycheck. This administration did more outsourcing to other countries with what could have been American jobs than any other administration. China is upset the Democrats have won and may take jobs away from them and bring them back to America.
Just think of the people who can't say they have a paycheck because they lost their jobs to overseas.

Last I checked, we still have a government. In fact a very large government. In fact, the largest government in the history of the United States. We also have the largest debt ever seen in the U.S. It has doubled since Bush became the President. These two things require a very large amount of money. Want to find blame. Look in a mirror if you call yourself a Republican.

because they favor to demonize the wealthy and blame them for the monetary concern of the adverse. They experience that is justification for controlling the monetary device. They use social courses on the rate of the wealthy as a attitude to lifting up the unlucky and disenfranchised to no fulfillment. Victimization, lack of responsibility, and emotions of entitlement is the liberal mantra. "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of lack of know-how, and the gospel of envy, its inherent distinctive feature is the equivalent sharing of misery." Winston Churchill

this is a misconception.
most democrats, including me, support lowering the taxes on the poor, middle class, and small buisinesses. however, we do believe in raising them for the rich and the big buisinesses.
and we do like economic freedom, but we beleive the government has an obligation and a duty to serve the people with social security and health care and such. hey, it's either that, or we make the buisinesses provide these things which will come from your pay, and they will lay off people, or if you are unemployed or have a job that doesn't provide these services, you will have to pay a fortune for them. so what do you prefer?

The reason you can't keep your hard earned paycheck is because you spend all your money on crack and porn. And let's face it, BK doesn't pay that much anyway.

Because Republicans like to spend MORE money than they bring in. On things like tax cuts for the SUPER RICH, $250,000,000 bridges to nowhere, illegal wars of choice, no bid contracts to Halliburton, port security by the UAE, pork projects for their friends and the list goes on & on & on.
If your so happy with all these projects, then someone HAS to pay for them. Since you don't want to, then our children and grandchildren will paying China, Japan and the like for your irresponsible fiscal practices.
Its a pay me now or pay me later thing..... GOT IT?
