19 men took over passanger jets with 2-300 people on them armed with "box cutters" ....How is that possible ? Lets say the ratio was 20 hijackers to 200 passengers 10 to 1 ?

How is it that they know this when the black box was never found ? The pilot called it in and said "hi air traffic control we have been hijacked by a guy with a box cutter gotta go now? If this is the case why don't they realease that tape and wxactly at which point did airtraffic control know the plane was hijacked.

Since the majority of these people who took the plane over were from Saudi Arabia why did America go bombing Afganistan and then invade Iraq and is now threatening Iran .............shouldn't Saudi be on the top of the list not the bottom?

Why is it that the US hasn't found Bin Laden after 5 years when the President himself said "we have satilites that can tell if your shoes are tied from space". Really think the guy is over 6' on dialisis for kidney failure

The ACLU sponsored Michael Newdow, the "under God" protestor guy from N. CA to speak at the local college. After his talk, there was a question and answer session where a lot of the students strongly disagreed with Newdow and his crusade to make all of us agree with him (sorry for the editorial). The Q&A became heated so the host of the gathering (the head of the local ACLU chapter) began to limit what could be asked!
Look at the hypocrisy:

"The ACLU is concerned with the protection of civil rights and civil liberties, and (Newdow has) done a lot for that," said Phyllis Gerstenfeld, interim co-chairwoman of the Stanislaus County ACLU.

After Newdow's speech, organizers asked for civilized discourse during questions, but limited what the audience could say.
Members of the crowd were upset, arguing that was a hypocritical control of their freedom of speech. Organizers said people came to hear Newdow speak, not audience members."

Once again, freedom of speech as long as we like it.

freedom shmeedom........your president and congress currently ignore americans demanding that the US borders be enforced. torture, wiretaps, gov produced "news stories", bribery, and election fraud.......we've got it all.

AND we have a huge military machine to punish those who dont do as we say.

Further clarification of my question are based on some quotes of his speech (see details below). The full speech is available here: http://www.un.org/webcast/ga/61/pdfs/iran-e.pdf

"Some [people] occupy the homeland of others, thousands of kilometers away from their borders, interfere in their affairs and control their oil and other resources and strategic routes, while others are bombarded daily in their own homes; their children murdered in the streets and alleys of their own country and their homes reduced to rubble.

Such behavior is not worthy of human beings and runs counter to the Truth, to justice and to human dignity."

---What so wrong about what he's saying?

We are losing jobs in america and replacing them with low paying service jobs .When will we require that all military spending be done with in our own boarders .That all the steal and miles of electrical cable and plumbing pipe and every part used to make our weapons be made in america .World war two helped americans out of the depression and the cold war lead to housing and jobs for millions of americans and lead to prosperity for all .
Today we are selling ourselfs out and buying our materials from the enemy .Steal from korea and china is used and billions paid to other countrys to provide us the materials need to wage war .
When will this congress at least make it so americans contribute to the war effort and are returned some of the money taken to pay for the war .The third world is the winner in this war and we are all losers .With our children dieing and our taxes being spent abroad what have we been thinking .
Who runs america if we do not .Bush and his profiteers ????????

Do you believe Sen. George Allen, (R. VA) when he says he never heard the word "macaca" the slur he used against a 20 year old summer intern of his opponent? It's a North African epithet for a brown skinned person, and Allen's mother just happens to be from Tunisia.

Then when asked if he's Jewish, Allen has said no. Do you believe his mother never told him she was Jewish? Do you believe that Allen he never suspected his mother was a Jew even though his grandfather was imprisoned by the Nazis?

Do these lie, if any, reflect on the Republican Party?

At one time, the Republicans were the more moderate of the two parties. Over time, it was taken and now controlled by conservatives, with their own agendas.

Do you think if the Republicans appealed to moderates, the party would grow?

PS....Rudy Gulliani, is the Republicans only hope to win in 2008! He is PRO-CHOICE, he will never get the Republican nomination for President. I don't know why some Republicans fool themselves by thinking that he'll be the Republican nominee.
