The left in this country want to win the war on terrorism.
The right in this country want the terrorists to win.
5 years after 9/11, Osama is still at large, and Bush has said he's not even trying to catch him.
Bush just attacks civilians, so he can create more terrorists, so he can keep the cowardly conservatives scared, so that he can increase his own power. You cannot win a war on terror by bombing civilians! You cannot win a war on terrorism by having snipers shoot through a baby being held by it's mother so that the bullet kills both! You cannot win a war on terror by being a worldwide terrorist!
You win a war on terror 2 ways...1) stop constantly killing people that are innocent and have nothing to do with anything. That makes new terrorists. 2) Use law enforcement to capture the ones that are actually terrorists. England did this, which is why they actually caught terrorists. Unfortunaely, Bush pressured Blair into making the arrests early (the investigation had been going on for over a month, the suspects were nowhere near ready and would have needed another several months) for the political gain following Republican in desguise Lieberman's loss. Now England has had to let almost all of them go free because they didn't have enough evidence, and will have to file lesser charges on the few they were able to keep in custody.
Thank Bush for the increase of terrorism due to his refusal to have the police do their jobs! Meanwhile, in the US, police have had their budgets cut.
Thank idiot conservatives for blindly following an usurping "president" that has installed a fascist state in the US!

And, what makes you so sure the left is sending THIS particular message so clearly? What advantage would the left gain by taking such a ludicrous position, and yet you decide to perceive their position as such? I think you need to smarten up a bit and really listen to what people are saying before you post something as asinine as your question.

No. But I'd like people to have more decency. The enemy is not Islam. The enemy is the terrorist. Until we all realize that...nobody will win.

...that's exactly what I'm beginning to see in the future of this country and world.. that and lots of employment opportunity in the mass grave occupation.. Of course first we might get to have the 51% poverty rate of Venezuela, and see for ourselves what it's like to express an opinion there..
--------
I'm reading the Koran, but not the radical footnoted one.. that simply clarifies further what the Koran does seem to say.. I'm getting a better understanding of the mindset..
---In this country, first we will cease to tolerate certain voices (first through sentment).
