You evil sod. You know not whereof you speak. Canada is heaven on earth. Ton problème, c'est que tu ne sais pas parler le français.
Think Derby Line VT-Stanstead QC. This is one town, bisected by the border down the main street. People migrate and shop wherever it is more attractive.
If you look at Del Rio TX-Ciudad Acuna it's hardly so friendly: you can't just stroll across the Main Street and be in the other country, reporting to Immigration only if you plan to stay longer than a few minutes. But it's nice.
The fact is that Canadians die at a lesser rate than Americans. You can fish some complaints out of various blogs and forums, but Canada is heaven on earth.
And BTW Canada does NOT have a national health service. You are confusing it with Britain. Canada has PROVINCIAL health services.
You are just mad because when you escape to Canada to avoid the oncoming military draft, you might have to speak French.
Tout va pour le mieux dans le meilleur des mondes possibles.
-- Pangloss, Voltaire.
And, FWIW, I have lived in Canada, Iran and the USA. But not Venezuela because I can't sing in tune.

You are right. Although our healthcare is covered by the enormous amount of taxes we pay, it is a long, long wait not only for treatment but the preliminary testing that is done prior to.
Another small example: A woman who gets a yearly physical can wait b/w 6-10 weeks for the results in Ontario.
I would definitely pay the extra and go to the US for testing or treatment if my life was at stake even though I must give almost 50% of my income to the government.
A very insane situation.

Yes, we Canadians have our problems (shortage of family physicians, plus long wait times for SOME procedures and initial specialist appointments), but I feel sorry for US citizens. I can't imagine having to break the bank if my child broke their arm and I had no insurance, or having to hope an insurance company will approve a life-saving treatment, or having to sell my home to keep my child alive.. that is "in fcking sane" to me.

If you are talking about the fact that Dr's get to decide where in the lineup you are based on your condition rather than your pocket book then yes it's horrible in Canada .
It is much better to wheel someone into a parking lot to bleed to death because they sold thier HMO (I lived in the US)
No it is not a better place at all in America the entire syestem is a shame to the public and to the government of America.
No Canada's health care isn't perfect but it is a lot better than what Americans pride themselves on -

Hi. You are right!! See how much of a flop Hillary Clinton's socialized health care plan was. The extreme left-wing liberals ought to go live in Cuba.
