Jenessa, I take the word of Independent people who are paid to report on these matters, not some hearsay from a soldier who might have his own agenda. The facts speak for themselves and you too must take off those rose colored glasses.

The Terrorists do not use kidnapped victims as suicide Bombers!!! They use their Own Brain Washed Men, Women and Children to accomplish these Murders of Muslims and Our Own People. This shows how ignorant you are of FACTS. It also shows that you are just a Sympathizer of Terrorists, and not one Yourself! A real Terrorists would never use the words [Suicide Bombers]. They refer to them as Martyrs.
The Liberal Press, and TV Media, refuse to show the American Heroes, the freedom given to the Iraqi Women, the right to education, along with the means to obtain it, the medical services, the freedom to go about their lives as here in America, and the assistance given by these Iraqi People ( at the risk of their lives) to find and destroy the Non-Iraqi Terrorists in their Country.
Unfortunately, it is People such as yourself, who's lies and slander are quoted by the Liberal Press and TV Media, and Give Aid and Comfort to these Terrorists, who are swore to kill all American Men Women and Children. That is the Truth, and they have the said it over and over again! But, of course, you turn yourself off during these Moments of Truth!

first off after CNN's reporting durring desert storm, i don't know why anyone would trust what they said. as for it being "out of control" have you been there? do you know people who have been there? it is getting under control, in fact places like fallujah that has some of the worst insurgencies is under control.
as for benefits... i don't know, democracy? letting the people choose what government they want in power... isn't that a beneift? as opposed to a dictator who has mass grave sites with thousands of people in them.
and wasn't it CNN that reported men were raping babies in new orleans after katrina? CNN is a horrible source. they are in bed with so many people i don't think they even know what the truth is!

Consider your family member goes out to market or church, and he may not come back because of all the car bombs and suicide bombers. Seems like everyday, there are 100 people die over there.
And it may even one day turns into a civil war. If the situation is "out of control" and remains "out of control", I wonder when will US pulls out and just let the iraqis kill each other.

25,000,000 million no longer oppressed by a tyrant.
A constitution 12 million voted for, not forced upon them by a dictator.
A government voted for by 12 million that represents all groups (sunni, shia, kurd, etc) instead of one group oppressing all the rest.
Women can participate in government.
Kurds no longer being gassed by chemical weapons.
No 8 year olds rounded up by the government and murdered in from of their parents.
Billions in oil money now being spent for the good of the country, not multi-million dollar palaces for 1 man.
Things are not perfect. However, niether were things in this country after the Revolutionary War and after the Civil War. But things will get better. Freedom is worth fighting and dying for.
