Ayatollah Khomeini confirmed some 2 decades ago that islam legally allows people to commit sexual acts with babies.

"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. If he penetrates and the child is harmed then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however would not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister." - Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini

The complete Persian text of this saying can be found in "Ayatollah Khomeini in Tahrirolvasyleh, Fourth Edition, Darol Elm, Qom"

Please understand that I am not advocating torture, but stating a fact: torture works and information gathered during torture has prevented terrorist attacks in our country.

Does that justify inhumane treatment of terrorists? I want to say that torture is never justified, and it makes us no better than the terrorists... but if we didn't do it, more blood would be spilt by their attacks.

I have no more words to describe it. Torture is reprehensible, and the alternative of simply allowing terrorism to continue is equally awful. What are your thoughts?

Do you think the USA will continue to get more and more divided? Where will this division lead us? Where will we be in five years, ten years?

does anyone at all besides congressmen losing their seats in November actually support this treasonous bill which would strip the free and equitable voting rights from American citizens?

to what level will the GOP stoop to retain a grasp of power in the USA? lying during campaigns has stopped working - so they resort to bastardizing and corrupting our voting process to discount the votes of United States Citizens.

How can anyone dare call themselves a GOP and American at the same time considering they are diametrically opposed stances? The GOP has removed it's last guise of allegiance to America with this move.

lmao

Islam has been called a religion of peace even by Bush (at least once). So then, why are even Bush supporters and other Americans (who claim they are Americans--people who supposedly support freedom of religion) creating stereotypes that suggest all Muslims are extremists who support terrorism? Why?

One of President George W. Bush's fiercest political opponents at home took his side on Thursday, calling Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez a "thug" for his remark that Bush is like the devil.

"Hugo Chavez fancies himself a modern day Simon Bolivar but all he is an everyday thug," House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said at a news conference, referring to Chavez' comments in a U.N. General Assembly speech on Wednesday.
