I don't hate America, but, some Americans need to be careful that their National Pride doesn't come across as arrogance. Their **** YOU attitude to the rest of the world needs to be adjusted. I've visited the U.S. lots, and love the place, but there is an element, which unfortunately gets most of the publicity, that cannot admit to any flaws. Thats not the way to develop and grow as a country and a culture. You make mistakes, you learn from them, you move on. Or try to. You don't put your fingers in your ears, close your eyes and and sing " I'm not listening, I can't hear you, I don't care what you say " Its a young country and needs time to develop and mature, so that people can be proud of their heritage and culture. At the minute what Americans have to be proud of is miliatary power, now that industrially speaking they aren't the super power they used to be. Luckily for them ,America is still a Massive Cultural Melting Pot and thats brilliant, thats where a country's culture and heritage comes from, from ALL the people who live there. Not just the ones whose Grandpas came from England or Ireland or wherever. What Im saying essentially is, that to say you hate America is to make the same Generalisations about a race that you probably hate America for making about another race. Americans by and large are decent, friendly people, but unfortunately decent friendly people don't get to hog the Limelight that often.

do I hate America?

No, you can't hate a country...makes no sense. America has so many cultures, and many wonderful people, that I am very appreciative of its diversity

do I question the current leadership of America?

Absolutely! Bush's political agenda, particularly regarding foreign policy, is atrocious. Invading a sovereign nation without provocation is morally and ethically wrong. However, as an American, I will question any leaders decisions if I feel that it is inappropriate. I am very lucky that I have the right to VOTE and PROTEST. Many others don't have that liberty.
