Can people punch them back?

2006-09-21 06:11:19 · 12 answers · asked by motherpeanutbutterbutinsky 6 in Politics & Government Politics

I would love to pass a law that all taxpayers get one free punch; any politician including the prez, to use in their life time. Let's make it happen!
We can call it the "one free punch law"!

Sure, A US Senator has every right to punch someone... of course there is then the probability that that someone will file a police report and the Senator will then be prosecuted for assault.

It's just the same as your right such a ridiculous question and my right to then scratch my head at your foolishness and then berate you.

All rights come with inherent responsibilities.

People should be allowed to punch senators, and they shouldn't be allowed to punch back. Senators aren't people, you know?
