When the main theme of the founding fathers was just such a fear? And history has proven time and again that your own government is the most dangerous entity in the world to your well-being as an individual?

In Iran, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a far different vision. As mayor of Tehran in 2004, he spent millions on improvements to make the city more welcoming for the return of a Muslim messiah known as the Mahdi, according to a recent report by the American Foreign Policy Center, a nonpartisan think tank.

To the majority of Shiites, the Mahdi was the last of the prophet Muhammad's true heirs, his 12 righteous descendants chosen by God to lead the faithful.

Ahmadinejad hopes to welcome the Mahdi to Tehran within two years.

Conversely, some Jewish groups in Jerusalem hope to clear the path for their own messiah by rebuilding a temple on a site now occupied by one of Islam's holiest shrines.

Artisans have re-created priestly robes of white linen, gem-studded breastplates, silver trumpets and solid-gold menorahs to be used in the Holy Temple — along with two 6½-ton marble cornerstones for the building's foundation.

I do not believe it, but tell me what you think.

The Rumor is that Saddam died as a result to his injuries after the first bombing.

That the guy they have on trial is his cousin, who also would double for him.
the rumor was thats why he has a beard, and the mannerisms are diffrent than the real saddam, that the DNA match was not even a high percentage when they caught him?

i think it is pure bunk.......what do you think or have heard?

The Borders have to be back or near the orginal borders. The rights of return have to be honored in some way like compensation. The issue of Jerusalem has to be a compromised and it could be done by outersiders working for both Countries.
An agreement of non-aggression must be enforced. No rockets and no incursions. No suicide bombers and no targeted assassinations.
The two state system has to be real, no interference, and the two sides have to agree to abatration on the issues they can not settle. Or there is penalities for both sides, like reduction in foriengn aid and so on.

You may have captured one of my bodyguards, but you will never take me alive. Iraq will be free once more. Bush will be out, and I will have Iraq. Impeach him so that I can bring order to Iraq once more.

I am sick of all the politics in our government and their politically correct answers that they give to easy yes or no questions. Why can't we get a person in our government that doesn't care about what the republicans say or what the democrats say or anyother party has to say, and just take a stand for what he or she believes in. Well I am fed up with it and I want to get into politics and try to make a difference in my city, state, and in our wonderful country. I have already started trying to learn more about the governement and some of the issues that I don't know a lot about, but what is a great way to get your name out their, and let people know about where you stand on the issues, without taking bribes from big lobbyists that you really don't agree with? I am truly dedicated to this and I have no hidden agenda as do a lot of politicians. I do not consider myself a donkey or a elephant or anyother type of party, I am the party of the hard working man.

If bush wants terrorism stopped, why did he turn his attention to Iraq instead of capturing the supposed leader of 9/11 - Osama bin Laden. I'm sure I'll get some lame-@ss name calling or response, but that shows me you have no clue, and you know I'm right.

For the sake of peace, nearly everyone ignored the threat of Hitler, and which resulted in great devastation./murder/heartbreak.
With those crying "peace peace", are we putting ourselves in the same jeopardy which will be realized and regretted too late?

By Ross Marowits

MONTREAL (CP) - A demonstration billed as a protest for peace assumed a distinctly anti-Israeli flavour Sunday as protesters denounced the Jewish state for killing hundreds of Lebanese.

Children carrying two large Lebanese flags and adults who trailed behind accused Prime Minister Stephen Harper of being an accomplice to Israeli murder. "Israel terrorist, Harper accomplice," members of the crowd shouted in unison as marchers left a downtown park on their journey through city streets.

Police said more than 15,000 people participated in the rally, making it one of the largest that took place around the world over the weekend.

The picking looks good for a non confidence vote in the House of Commons although Ducepe would not comment Layton seems to see the opurtunity and WHERE are the Liberals ????
I thought they only hid when they were the government?

Wow if we dump Harper over this will the US decide to "liberate" us next ?

i suggest that everyone on yahoo boycott all Middle East and anything to do with religion problems for a week maybe they will just go away, what do you think?
If we ignore them it is possible they can solve their own problems without us sending troops ,arms, weapons, to light the fire .
Gee ? did anyone ever think of that ?
Why does the U.S. seem to think that we can solve problems in some other country that we know nothing about .
That's all they want is our money anyways ,they dont' want us there ..so why don't we just leave and let them solve their own problems.
Wow what a concept...I wonder what would happen if we just dissappeared from there and concentrated on our own troubles for a change ,like medical care for the elderly, and children.
I am sure President Clinton (Hillary) will solve them once she gets elected as President in out next election.

Liberals in this country are a disgrace to America. They will do and say anything only to attack Bush. And many Americans follow and believe this one sided garbage. Many of the people, even on some of these yahoo Q&A's will pound Bush and the Iraq war yet they dont even know the facts or what they are talking about. They believe every damn thing the lopsided media puts out. Its all about politics. Bush this, Bush that. Bush is to blame for everything. Yada yada yada. Open your fricking eyes and look at what is going on in the world. We need someone with balls like Bush in office, but more importantly we need more people to back him and us up. Sure Bush has made mistakes. He is human, but to point him out as why the world is **** is stupid. He is trying to the right thing for us and the world. Liberals like Hillary Clinton dont even know what they want. They have no plans for fixing anything. They change thier views on things to whatever will discredit the current administration.
