Interesting questions. I don't know if Bin Laden was, or wasn't responsible. The only video in existance of him claiming to do it is of very poor quality and the guy just doesn't look like Bin Laden. The guy has a turban and camo and that's about it. He doesn't even have his AK in the background, something Bin Laden rarely is seen without. The guy in the video is also right-handed and wears a ring! Jewelry is prohibited by Islam and Osama is left-handed.

Osama also told al Jazeera: "I didn't do it." A day or two afterwards. Since then, he hasn't ever claimed responsibility in any of his videos.

As far as I can tell, I believe the sack of ****. Don't like Bin Laden, and we should catch him, but I honestly don't think he was responsible for 9/11.

Now Afghanistan and Iraq have a unique past with us. Not only have we basically built their militaries and dictatorships from the ground up since the eighties, we helped Iraq kill hundreds of thousands of Iranians in the most horrifying chemical warfare campaign ever. It is a miracle Iran has not built a coalition to declare war on us for funding that genocide.

I asked a question about the legitimacy of the official story behind 9-11. Please, keep the comments constructive. If you provide any kind of documented input to the topic, it would be appreciated. I am still a skeptic, but I think it is necessary to look at all points of view before just blindly going along with it.

From a transcript of a video that was found in Afghanistan:
UBL: (...Inaudible...) we calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (...Inaudible...) due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for.

UBL: The brothers, who conducted the operation, all they knew was that they have a martyrdom operation and we asked each of them to go to America but they didn’t know anything about the operation, not even one letter. But they were trained and we did not reveal the operation to them until they are there and just before they boarded the planes.

We knew that UBL was in Afghanistan and the Taliban knew specifically where he was but wouldn't turn him over. So we went looking for him. That's why we invaded Afghanistan.

As far as Saddam goes, I don't think there's any 9/11 link between him and Al Qaeda.

With 9/11 as a defense, invading Iraw was pointless. We know that Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks because of the videos that he released soon after the attacks.

He was on video with friends watching on television and laughing. He even made the comment that most of the bombers didnt know they were going to die (the pilots all did). He even told them to wait there was more to come (then the second tower was hit). You need to get out more. WW3 is here and you are still living in your spoiled little never never land world.

As to Iraq, there was no reason to turn that country into the hell it is now.
