I am sick of all the politics in our government and their politically correct answers that they give to easy yes or no questions. Why can't we get a person in our government that doesn't care about what the republicans say or what the democrats say or anyother party has to say, and just take a stand for what he or she believes in. Well I am fed up with it and I want to get into politics and try to make a difference in my city, state, and in our wonderful country. I have already started trying to learn more about the governement and some of the issues that I don't know a lot about, but what is a great way to get your name out their, and let people know about where you stand on the issues, without taking bribes from big lobbyists that you really don't agree with? I am truly dedicated to this and I have no hidden agenda as do a lot of politicians. I do not consider myself a donkey or a elephant or anyother type of party, I am the party of the hard working man.

You've had some pretty bad earthquakes up there. And that volcano up wind from you keeps on dumping ash all over the place. I've got just what you're looking for.

I am the founder of the SPLATT (short for Stop PLATe Tectonics) political party. We are an environmentalist wacko movement. Our platform is shaky. It's to eliminate earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis and the damage that they cause.

Our mascot: the flatworm

Theme songs: "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Whole Lot of Shaking Going On", "I Fell the Earth Move Under My Feet", "Hunka Burning Love", "Ebb Tide", "Surfin’ USA", “Catch a Wave”

The Fairbanks Daily Newsminer can answer that question. It's one of the top 10 newspapers in the USA. I suggest you pick it up and read it each day so you can get a better picture of exactly WHY that happens. This isn't a question about alaskan politics at all. It's true all over the country. By the way, there are 7 major political parties in Alaska.....perhaps you should join one of those that suits your beliefs, etc.
