if hitler hurt the jews , why the jews and usa are hurting lebanon? this war is not about a group, it is about destroying the existence of lebanon. why this small coutry is being hurt?

I don't agree with this war but I can explain it to you:

First, Israel wants to attack it's enemies while a USA president is in office that supports war and sees killing civilians as acceptable collateral damage. We saw this in Iraq when we dropped bombs there too.

Now why is Israel doing it? I think that Israel has come to the conclusion that there is never going to be peace and has decided to have an all out war. Since diplomacy has failed repeatedly they have decided to end it with violence.

I also think they see Lebanon as 'a helper of terrorists' and that is how they justify destroying it. It is much like the way the USA destroyed the Taliban for helping B. Laden.

Neither the USA or Israel wants to harm Lebanon. Unfortunately for the Lebanese they had their chance at keeping peace but they blew it. They should have accepted the UN's proclamation to have the Israeli-Lebanon border controlled and all weaponry should have been destroyed. Instead Lebanon allowed Hezbollah to build up its military might especially near the border, but inside Lebanon as well, and this meant that Lebanon would be doomed. I am very sorry for Lebanon and its people who have to suffer because of Hezbollah and Iran/Syria who control Hezbollah. When a cease fire is finally established and a powerful peace keeping force is put into place then can Lebanon find peace. What a world!

This war isn't about hurting the Lebanese civilians. It is about getting the Hezbollah out of there. The civilians of Lebanon are being used as human shields by the hezbollah, and it is shown and proven. Israel isn't targeting civilians on purpose, and yes, it is horrible and sad to see innocent people die, but the Lebanese people need to take a stand against Hezbollah. The Hezbollah are purposely targeting civilians.

There is too much ordnance in Israel's arsenal. I think a good diet--no financial or military aid--for five years would help them find other ways of working with neighboring countries beside attacking them with full scale bombardments.

you won't like what people will tell you here..people in the west is backing Israel because the truth can't reach them correctly..just believe in your cause and god be with all of us and help us to let people understand the war crimes committed by Israel against humanity.
