As the violence in the Middle East escalates, when will the Western World, especially the U.S., that suffered a brutal attack on 9/11, realize that the greatest danger to the world is Islamic Fundamentalism, and that it must be destroyed, regardless of civilian casualties in countries that support these animals?

You better before you find the Bill of Rights disappears for good.

I just joined after going through a stressful time with federal law enforcement over a comment I made which was a joke. I never thought I would be a supporter of the ACLU, but I am. It's scary to know how many of our rights are being whisked away under the guise of "national security".

Fair would be fair. Please the idiot who wants to answer that Black peole get welfare, don't even say it. Most the people on welfare aren't Black and that is not compensation. If you think of it, if you up lift the Black community it would be good for the whole country.

And do you think this will escalate into a wider war? Will the Lebanese government fight against Hezbollah or the Israelis? Will the US intervene?

Why do so many people oppose stem cell research? YA YA YA I know the whole debate about using aborted baby’s and unused embryos,(yes I’m pro choice) But do you people opposed to stem cell reacherch know there are other sources for stem cells? Like umbilical cord blood! You can donate your baby’s umbilical cord blood after it’s born and they use the stem cells in the cord blood for research, if you don’t donate it they just throw it away. So what’s the problem with that? Ill tell you what To appease all you prolifers what do you say we stop using aborted baby’s and unused embryos for research and just use umbilical cord blood, would that make you happy? That way we can continue the life saving research and both sides will be satisfied.

These embryos would be destroyed anyway, because they are leftover from fertility treatments. Why not use them for stem cell research and improve our chances of finding a cure for cancer, heart disease, or even AIDS? Isn't finding a cure saving lives? Why would George Bush veto this bill if it could save so many lives and these embryos are going to die anyway?

It doesn't make sense to me...someone who is pro-life, please explain.

It just seems like its still to hard to watch. When the towers fell I was thinking it would be 10 years AT LEAST until such a movie was appropriate. Its only been about 6 years. What do you think?

I just copied this from a news story about the most recent Isreali invasion of Lebanon. I used to like to watch the president talk, it made me laugh, but after a while it just gets sad and embarrasing.

President Bush also suggested, in a moment of unscripted frank discussion caught on tape, that Annan simply call the president of Syria, another Hezbollah backer, to "make something happen."

"See, the irony is that what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this s--- and it's over," Bush said.
