Israel has existed long before the UN. The world's acknowledgment of Israel in 1948 as a independent sovereign nation has no impact on their belief that God gave them what they consider "The Promise Land". Many nations have tried to remove Israel from their land and have fail. I don't think that if the
UN decided tomorrow that Israel no longer exists would change what the Israelites think about their lands.

The Jews first moved into the land of Israel thousands of years ago (read the Bible - Moses leading the Jews out of Egypt and all that...remember?).
That was way BEFORE the UN ever existed.... and BEFORE Islam existed
As soon as Israel was recognised as a state in 1948 she was attacked by Egypt, Syria, Jordan and many other neighbouring countries BEFORE Israel had lifted one finger against any arab country. The aggression all came from the Arab States, as it has done ever since.
Israel has a right to exist IN PEACE without being continually attacked by terrorists, especially if those terrorists are being shielded and sponsored by sovereign states like Lebanon, Iran and Syria.
Even if Israel was illegally occupying land, this does NOT give anyone the right to attack them with rockets and suicide bombings. What is does do is give Israel every right to defend herself against terrorists that every right-thinking person and country in the World utterly condemns.

that's no longer precisely the way it got here approximately. The U.N. genuinely voted to end Brittish administration of Palestine in Nov of 1947. additionally they ressolved to divide it between a Jewish and Arab State. The Brittish stayed in Palestine and as you understand the Arabs did no longer different than this decision however the Jews did. Israel formally became a state on could 15, 1948. Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Transjordan and Syria invaded that comparable day.

The modern State of Israel came into existence due to Jews building it out of a desert wasteland over about 100 years and declaring an independent state.

In the beginning before Islam... before christianity ... and yes even before judaism there was a land. This land was inhabitted by a people. Lets for the sake of argument call them 'X'. Now the tribe of X lived happy lives and all was good. Along came Judaism and most of the people of X adopted this new religion as their own and they became jews. Lets call this new group of Jewish X's "Xa". The people of Xa had a troubled history and wondered about and eventually returned to their land. Later on in history a splinter group of Xa formed (lets call them Xb) and they followed an Xa reformer whom they claimed was the son of God. Now the only major difference between Xa and Xb was their religious affiliation one group called themselves Jews and the other called themselves Christians but they all had a rite to the land they were on. Now we all know that there were very few Xb's from that land as many more converted from distant lands but nevertheless Xb's did exist with a claim to the land. Finally along came a group of Arabs from the dessert who claimed to have the one true religion *Islam) and they settled on this land. but in doing so a large number of Xa's and Xb's chose to freely convert to this new religion. so now we have Xc's. Now there is no mistaking that if we were to base the right of existance on ethnic purity then the Jews would win. but thats simply due to certain marital restrictions implied in their faith.
the Xb's and Xc's do not refer to Christians and Muslims but more specifically to the ethnic inhabitants of this land who chose one of these 2 new faiths. does their choice of faith somehow deny them their right to the land. i certainly hope not.
To try and look at this problem as arabs verses jews is very very wrong because what constitutes an Arab isn't a religous or ethnic boundry but simply the ability to speak arabic. Similarly a Jew is not just a word that describes religion alone but rather it also describes an ethnic affiliation.
The Question that i would like to pose here is simple "can the australians reclaim england? can the muslims reclaim spain? obviously the answer is no. So since when did the UN have a mandate to uphold 3000 year old promises made by God.

Isrel has more than 100 UN Resolutions against it. None of them has not been compiled by Isrel since 1950s to 90s. The historians and scolars say that Isrel has ignored every sngle resolution of U.N., which according to them amounts to serious distortion of the official Security Council record by the profilgate use by the United States of its Veto Power. That speks about the criminal and notorious record Isrel has to its credit.
I don't think another vote on its existence may make any difference to Isrel as long as the World Police Men attitude of US is favouring Isrel. Infact, the US takes to its credit for reducing the existance of U.N. with its world policemen attitude on any issue.

And white man stole land, took land, and made war with the Indians over land. Should we give it back?
What if the Indians decide to fight us?!
What if they start strapping dyanmite and walk into Wal Marts, 7-11 and explode them demanding we leave the US?
Do you think $20 and some beads were enough of a payment, taking infaltion into account, for Manhattan?
If you are in the U.S. then you are living on land taken by White men away from the Red man by force or false pretense!
If they take it back, where you gonna go?
Palestine? You think the Arabs would welcome you?
If the Indians marched us at gun point to the Atlantic and said SWIM, what would you do?
Of course the Indians got the last laugh. They are a separate nation, can write their own laws and don't have to pay white man taxes.
Anyone want to go gamble at the Casino, buy booze and smokes without taxes? Buy an Ipod without taxes?
Remember, after the Arabs get rid of the Jews, the next group on their list to come after is the Christians!
They don't like them very much!
Anyone starts sending rockets into Churchs, starts human bombing Kmarts and Wal Marts and my normal forgive, forget and peaceloving nature will go out the door and I will get an AK47 and shoot anyone wearing a towel on their head, march them off to a boat and send them to Palestine so they can live like sand rats!
And I will THEN support a national law making God and Jesus the national Religion of America!
And FORCE everyone to pray to Jesus.
So, let's not let it come to that!
The Arabs haven't yet met Joe-Bob and his white uniformed, cross covered white sheet friends who string people up in the night.
Joe-Bob's not a very nice guy, you don't want to tick Joe-Bob off! Not if you know what's good for you!
Joe-Bob won't put you on a boat to Palestine. Joe-Bob will hang you from a tree in your own front yard!
Let's not even think about going in that direction!

Hell no. Anyone with the audacity to go against the Isaelis is up for some serious retaliation. They'll turn any city to glass that tries to eradicate them. Iran will be a nice example when it finally happens.
