It's hard to say. Many countries like Russia, China, and the European Union are calling for a immediate cease-fire. The U.K. and U.S., among other countries, are keeping their distance a bit saying that Israel has the right to defend itself. They don't outright support a cease-fire, which is being labeled as a "temporary" stall and not a solution.
My guess is that Israel will ultimately give in to trading a few prisoners for the soldiers safe return. However, Israel is making a long-lasting point that this type of negotiation in the future will be a hard-pill to swallow. They don't want to encourage this type of hostage-taking crisis to reoccur. So they'll hold out as long as possible.

When the kidnapped Israeli soldiers are returned, when Lebanon quits bombing Israeli cities and last, when Lebanon takes back control of their borders from Hezbollah. That's Israel's demands for a cease fire. I pray it comes sooner rather than later. The more blood that's shed, the more hate will be directed at the US.

When I was watching NBC they said that Israel said if the captured prisoners where released back to Israel they would stop the attacks. But who knows.
