then why are alternative health care systems not more integrated in the NHS?

Acupuncture on the NHS is only available of someone who is qualified as a GP. GP's learn acupuncture as an extra but a Middlesex university student with a 4 year degree in traditional chinese medicine and a stint of training in mainland china hospitals(where western and chinese medicine are practised side by side) is not allowed to practice acupuncture on the NHS. Their degree course includes western anatomy and biochemistry btw. London has it's own Ayurvedic hospital and Ayurvedic medicine has a history longer than chinese medicine. it is not accepted yet, i still have to meet my first obese peron from India!
Physiotherapy and osteopathy have humongous waiting lists.

That's what all Democratic Senators but one and all moderate Republicans but two said today. Shouldn't our president stop insulting this country with trivial BS like this? Isn't it just blatant politics of the most juvenile kind?>

I sure think so. I think it might be wiser to create an energy policy, researchin a cure for AIDS, making healthcare affordable, keeping pharmaceuticals within accessible to the poor, maintaining Social Security, raising the minimum wage, prosecuting corporate greed mongers, passing campaign reform, stopping slaughter in the Sudan, finding Osama bin Laden, protecting our ports, preventing traffic deaths, researching alternative fuels, saving the domestic airline and auto industries, and investigating the NSA's spying on innocent citizens. But that would assume Bush cares about us & we all know that's a joke.

Also, what is your definition of poor? Do you consider the poeple who refuse to get a job, while collecting welfare as 'poor'?

We have exploding national debt, a health care crisis, failing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, rising oil prices with no energy policy, depleted oceans, global warming, rising international hate against the US, corrupt elections, unlimited unwarranted spying by the gov't, among a few.

Even though a fetus has a distinctly different DNA from the mother, which proves that it is it's own human being, liberals insist on having the right to kill them through abortion.

Usually they use the argument that "it's my body and I can do whatever I want with it", which is obviously not true, or they argue that it's not a baby because it couldn't survive outside the womb, which is nonsense because a newborn can't survive outside the womb on its own either.

Why do liberals insist on the right to kill babies? Can't they just use birth control like everyone else?
