Country with strongest military force, in destructive ability, that ever existed gets hit by four planes that destroy two out of date buildings, damage one; mess up one field kill three thousands people, and some of our basic civil rights get tossed that survived fifty years of cold war. How did it happen?

And places this form of power in the hands of persons who want to attain this level of "authority" over others, what timely protections and recourse will a person/individual have to keep themself from being forced to change their beliefs to fit the "communities expectations".

This proposed law; is unnecessary, all recourse and lawful acts are established via the Constitution and so are individual protections.

Dead men warned you about this level of judgement, and the persons and conditions that would attempt to attain this level of power over citizens.

Iran ended its nuclear program in 2003 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7126422.stm) and that is according to US intelligence. Yet Bush is STILL pushing for sanctions, and says Iran is dangerous - even not ruling out military action. So if Iran has done exactly what Bush has told them and given up its nuclear ambitions, what more can they do?

We have soldiers killing themself for a country who is killing their own underhanded. Why doesn't any stop this? Do you guys know about this?

How can you not be mad at the President this morning for shredding the last remaining particle of White House credibility? If Iran is dangerous, then one could argue that we need our allies more than ever?

The latest US intel report states that Iran froze its nuclear program in 2003. But recently president Bush kept saying Ahmadinejad is bent on making nukes and concerns US security.

So it is obvious 1 of the 2 is a liar --- Bush or the intelligence.

1) if the intelligence is lying as it very badly screwed up on iraq WMD assessments, then what revamping and restructuralization did Bush do that he promised in 2004? He said he will fix intel and never again would bad information similar to iraq would be presented. So it shows the blame lies on Bush for failing to fix intel reports.

2) If Bush is lying, then he needs to be impeached because he played the WMD game with iraq too and now tries to do same with iran.

so both ways, blame lies on Bush. Yet pro-war and pro-Bush people say liberals and anti-americans are to be blamed.

I guess thats why repubs lost 2006 senate and house --- because they have no crediblity. Right?

The pratt can scarcely write any intelligible form of English!
He's rambling on with these expressions like "strategies" and "planning". And the fool doesn't even know the difference between "Alibi" and "Excuse"
God help the kids at school if this semi-literate is a "Professor"
And God help the victims of these lunatic Councils!

I'm not at all surprised at the fact that so many people of other cultures despise Americans. I am American but I agree, our government needs to keep it's nose in it's own business.

I want to know WHY everyone thinks that all Americans represent what they see in our government. Do other people realize that just because our government does something, it doesn't mean that we all support it?

What if the powers that be (in the US) turned on it's own citizens? Would the rest of the world be happy? Or would anyone jump in and try to help?
