Is it constitutional for the government to prevent it's citizens from growing and consuming any thing that can be cultivated naturally from the earth?

If It comes from the earth we as humans have a right to use it any which way we choose?

And forcing its citizens to pay income tax thats not freedom and it's not constitutional.

the constitution says nothing about putting people in jail if they become addicted to drugs? Who makes these unjust laws that get enslaved upon us in the name of freedom.

I think that it is a governments, any governments, place to protect their citizens and their property. This may be extended to guarding the individuals rights as spelled out by the government, in the USA this would be the Bill of Rights. And that is all they should do. They should not be concerned with what people "should" and "should not" do, but only bother in matters that directly impact citizen health, safety, property, and maybe rights. Such matters should be handled by social institutions, ideally the family.

This would lead to some very different laws, such as no legal penalty for prostitution or pornography. And it would also completly eliminate the possibility of some Orwellian distopia or theocracy.

What say you all?

And why would you leave? I am so ready to leave! I want a simpler life and I have had enough of watching my country go from great to good, if that. Enough of the politicians, outsourcing, business favored over the American people, etc.

Why was it removed? I was just fixing to answer it? There was nothin offensive about the question? An America citizen was warning us about a face which is never offensive? How was it against community guidelines if it is in the best interests of Americans?

I have a friend that is drawing their SSDI (the money they paid to disability insurance during the decades they worked) The SSDI is a very small amount and it barely covers the cost of housing and other necessary monthly expenses. They receive $33 a month in food stamps and they were working part time until a physical injury made it impossible to do so. They borrowed a car and gas money and went to food banks but were turned away for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was having no children in the household.

My question is where can people get assistance with food? If they don't pay their rent or utilities they will be homeless. Keep in mind that they have no transportation and they also have many medical appointments that coincide with food banks limited hours.

Thanks

Peace.

These weapons have released deadly, carcinogenic and mutagenic, radioactive particles in such abundance that there is no corner of the globe they cannot penetrate - including Britain. Yet, officially, no crime has been committed. For this story is a dirty story in which the facts have been concealed from those who needed them most. It is also a story we need to know if the people of Iraq are to get the medical care they desperately need, and if our troops, returning from Iraq, are not to suffer as terribly as the veterans of other conflicts in which depleted uranium was used.

A Dirty Tyson

'Depleted' uranium is in many ways a misnomer. 'Depleted' sounds weak. The only weak thing about depleted uranium is its price. It is dirt cheap, toxic, waste from nuclear power plants and bomb production. However, uranium is one of earth's heaviest elements and DU packs a Tyson's punch, smashing through tanks, buildings and bunkers with equal ease,

The report came out yesterday that Iran is not making nuclear weapons. Yet, Bush continues with his warmongering chant about Iran and how it isn't cooperating with international demands. I guess Bush and his Zionist masters are just dying to start another war with a sovereign nation. I think they are a bunch of lying, deceptive, greedy warmongering pigs. How do you feel about dictators like Bush and the Zionists that give him his secret orders?

I'm for it in the workplace, because I know there are racists out there and some who are not necessarily racist, but just ignorant and have certain opinions (not the word i'm looking for) about different races.

I'm against it in educational settings, because it should be based on smarts, not race. I do not see any correlation between race and smarts, unless you happen to be a foreigner who couldn't tackle the english language, and so, were disadvantaged.

The NIE was released to the White House 8 months ago and there were only a few minor changes made to it since then.

So if you believe that Bush had no clue that Iran stopped it's nuke weapon production, doesn't that make him an inept leader?

Or was he purposely being obtuse in not bothering to find out the truth?
