They found the killer left a suicide note and wanted to "go out in style" and it was a couple hours after the president left so I'd say no, the note didn't have anything about the president but that is ironic.

Nothing being reported by any of the news agencies other than Bush had left town about an hour prior. But police have given nothing other than a note saying "I'm going out in glory"
