That seems like the play book Republicans have been using, and imagine how lame it will look if Obama is running in the lead.

No. Not just because they're leading in the polls. The terrorists will leave us alone until after they're actually elected, then all bets are off. The terrorists know (just as most of us do, whether we'll admit it or not) that the democrats are weaker on national defense issues than are the republicans. I honestly feel that there is a very good likelyhood that we will see our next big terrorist attack if there is a democrat elected to be president, which is very likely indeed. And maybe after this attack, all the liberals can give one another a big group hug and ask themselves how we can all strive to better understand the terrorists and not invite these attacks by being so big and powerful a nation. Sorry, my sarcasm slipped in a bit there. Oh, and maybe after a nuclear weapon is slipped in across the Mexican border, both the republicans AND the democrats will finally take the issue of border-security seriously and do something about it. Probably not, but maybe...

No. The terrorists are already here via the Bush administration neglect of the border. They have been stealth attacking for years in all countries. Look at the spread of Islam. It's only a matter of time.

It doesn't matter who is leading in the polls or what their political affiliation is. The world hates us.

there certainly will be one if a Republican is elected...

one of them (Bush) was teaching kids with no disturb sign when the nation was being attacked
