I am an Objectivist, myself. I have found that few people have ever heard of it. Most of the people I have found that know of it are Libertarians.

I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, and correct me if I’m wrong, but so many diseases were cured in the first half of the last century with so much less technology than we have today.

Ok, regardless of wether you think abortion is wrong or right, you must admit that it is rather strange that liberals support it.

Consider this. Liberals say live and let live, even for animals (look at PETA). Regardless if you think an unborn child/fetus is human or animal, you're killing something. Why are liberals ok with is?

Consider this: Liberals love standing up for the innocent that can't speak for themselves. Is there anything more innocent and unable to stand up for itself than a human embryo?

Consider this: Liberals tell us we should maximise freedom of choice. Why isn't the baby's choice considered in this? After all, its very clearly choosing to be born. And you if you think there is no choice being made, then you devalue choice in general. After all, it all comes from biological functions.

I find this, and other contradictions to be baffling. I would think that abortion would be something more attractive to conservatives. Yet it istn't. Why?

Naturalized American citizens have come here for years, to escape the past and start life anew. They have created business, became ceos and presidents of companys, and gone nationwide across America. Even though the Constitution prohibits naturalized citizens from running for Presiden, I want to know what you all think.
Please explain your reason of arguement!

Global Warming,
WW3,
Y2K,
6/6/06, 2006-MAY-25: Eric Julien of the Exopolitics Institute predicted that a remnant from a comet would hit the Atlantic ocean and generate massive tsunami,
2006-JAN-25: James Kingsley predicted a major "Earthquake Storm" near Los Angeles, CA.,
2005-OCT-05: Stuart Cobbs predicted that God will close the "Church Age" and time the Rapture of the Church on this date,
2005-OCT-04/05: Titu John Negovan wrote that: "There is a strong possibility that Yahshua (Jesus) the Bridegroom is returning for His bride.,

This crap goes way back to the 30 BC period.
So when is it going to happen?
Global warming is the new fad.

They've allowed millions to enter this country illegally. They're allowing corporations to move jobs overseas. Ted Kennedy, supposedly a labor man, is talking to the Chamber of Commerce to write his immigration plan. 80% of the wealth in this country is controlled by only 130,000 people. We're being told that there is a "Third Way" to globalization, by providing safeguards for the working class that we DO NOT HAVE NOW! Am I the only one that feels like I'm living under the control of some alien government?

Liberals and conservatives make for two very important components in society. Winston Churchill once said,

"Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man with no heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man with no brain."

It might be an oversimplification, but there's some truth to it.

Liberals are at their best when they "feel" and back those feelings up with rationale. Conservatives are at their best when they "think" but don't step on compassion at the same time.

Instead of tearing eachother down, why aren't we challenging eachother to do our best?

Maybe there is a good reason for this. Maybe there is an unrepairable rift. I'd like to think this isn't true but I'm open.

So really now, what is wrong with conservatives and liberals encouraging eachother to be the best they can be? Do we live in a society where we have become so blindly partisan that we cannot see any contributions but our own? Is this unsolveable? If not, then what do we do?
