I was just reading answers to someone else's question and everything he says about them seems to be true. Try to refrain from answering if you don't listen to his show.

I don't set my moral compass by Rush. I'm fundamental Christian in my beliefs, so I set my moral compass by that irrelevant book The Bible. Which I'm sure will make you libs hate me more but I don't care. I am constantly amazed at how Rush comes to the same conclusion as me from a different starting point. I think he's a Christian but he says Methodist which is pretty dang liberal in their beliefs lately.

So what if Rush is an admitted pain killer abuser? Why are you so tolerant of people's lifestyles that are not conservative?

Yeah I think Communism will work wonderfully when the Lord comes back to lead it, but until then it's dangerous at best and disastrous at worst.

I don't think I'm being brain-washed and I'm not rich... although I would be a lot closer to rich if we didn't have to raise taxes for all the lib social programs. Bush's tax cuts made a $2000 a year difference for me. I noticed the difference. Do you libs not file taxes?

It's pointless to limit responses to those who listen to him and know him? I guess if I wanted to listen to the baseless crap the lib's spew about a president they don't know that would be a good idea.

I've never listened to Doc Savage but I have listened to Mark Levin and Sean Hannity. I prefer Rush because he is relatively nice to liberal callers in comparison to those two. I like Roger Hedgecock and I especially like Walter E. Williams. Dr. Williams just nukes libs on economic issues.

I thoroughly enjoy El Rushbo's show, for entertainment value and for education. At first, I thought he was saying some of his stuff for shock value.....but then as time progressed they showed themselves to be true. I don't necessarily like how he pounds the point that every person who political beliefs are liberal are 100% evil. There is a lot more to a person than their political beliefs.

One more thing I want to say is directed to those who have one liner's whenever Rush is mentioned "Drug addict". He came out and admitted he had a problem and demonstrated a little integrity during the situation. But if liberals want to play that game I would throw around their idol Ted Kennedy. At least Rush doesn't go around committing homicide and getting away with it.

Is everything Rush Limbaugh says correct? No. However a good deal of it is, Rush is very good at what he does. He puts on quite a good show, and is typically very prepared (although I assume he has quite a research team) to handle almost any issue that is thrown his way.

I do tend to agree with much of what Rush says about liberals and even conservatives. Even though some might view him as an "arch" conservative, he has no problem dishing out to them as well when they do things he feels aren't right.

I have liberal friends who listen to Rush, not because they agree with him, but because they feel he is entertaining, which I would also agree with.

Now if you were to ask about Hannity, that would be a different answer completely.

Yes they are correct. It is really sad that the once laudible phylosophy of liberalism has been hijacked by socialists. Many of the people spouting the latest taling points of the left really don't know what liberialism is supposed to be about. I am not, by any means a liberal but I remember what they used to be about. Now if you show up at any rally run by the neo-libs you will see the communists and socialists proudly on display. My Dad was a liberal back in pre-WWII era. When a socialist spoke at the campus and put proclaimed capitalism evil (yes even back then) the audience shouted him down, drove him from the room and ended up panting him outside and throwing him in the fountain. Liberals had no use for socialists back then. They used to stand for individual rights which is, of course the opposite of socialism. Sad, really.

I listen to yak radio every day.

Rush is right.

And on this subject, Doc Savage is a little more radically right.

And some of the liberals that Hannity has had on his show lately make Alan Combs look lovable to even the most radical right-wingers.

Still, the liberal-conservative labels are overly simplified. I know many fiscal conservatives that are social liberals (the old Goldwater branch) and I know many born-again evangelical socialists.

Yes Rush is usually right. He has been on the radio since 1989.I don't know of anyone on the radio,or politics for that matter, that have been as accurate on their predictions or analysis.I think if Rush would take a pay cut and run for President he could be one of the best in history. I know liberals would disagree, but he would not run so don't worry.

Rush Limbaugh has higher ratings than the "king of radio" Howard Stern. Matter of fact he placed in the number one spot. Rush must be doing something right

why would liberals listen to his show?

so.. people that listen to his show clearly think so?

so your question is pointless since your asking it of those that listen to him?

I may as well ask "is bush good?" and say "only those who hate bush answer".... why bother if I'm only asking those that agree with me?

why don't you list some of the ideas that he talks about and open up the conversation to everyone? afraid you may be wrong?

everyone that matches his description you label as "liberal" and everyone that doesn't, you don't... so you're making it correct in your own eyes by picking and chosing the truth...

You can try to put a spin on anything. Look at the rush's the o'reilly's.

The difference between a spin and true investigation is the details of fact, or merely opinion.

So if youre basing your arguement on one fools opinion on how htings are, youre more a fool than that idiot is.

Best is to get the news yourself, then listen to the spins they try to put on it, so you can decipher whats true and whats opinion.

P.S. addition, as I see Ive already been thumbed down
Thank someone for showing no ones for finding the accurate details. People love the spins that are put on the stories.

very intelligent!

Sen. John F. Kennedy, acceptance of the New York Liberal Party Nomination, September 14, 1960.
What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

It does seem that Rush is consistantly able to predict how Libs will respond to issues before they actually get the chance to do so.
