Superstitious people are SCARED, SCARED, SCARED!

They are hoping for an easy way out of their problems and hope despirately to be rescued but it isn't going to happen. Even the superstitous will have to die just like the rest of us. Too bad they are so afraid of world problems and death.

I'm so tired of this mindless crap and glad to see someone else is too. Doom sayers need to SHUT UP and let the rest of us figure out how we can make the world a better place for those of us who can face facts.

Global warming is the next fad...that and TERRORISM!

In the 1960's everyone was afraid of the COMMUNISTS taking over by (gulp) the dreaded year of doom...1970. The 1960's folks also thought the world would be destroyed by POLLUTION by 1970 too. JEEZ...

Now people are chicken littles about MOSLEMS taking over by 2010! It isn't going to happen. Those of us who can keep a clear head will find a solution. The religious people will be praying for miracles and atheists will do all the foot work. When the foot work pays off, the religious people will assume it was...A MIRACLE! While it isn't a miracle, it is amazing that clear headed, logically minded, rational people can survive among such foolishness.

We haven't hit any of the dates predicted by the Mayans and Egyptians. They're coming up in 6 (2012) and 17 years (2024) respectively.

The dates you mention have no basis. As you said, they're all fads. Predictions from Ancient cultures (Mayans, Aztecs, Egyptians, Druids) are the ones that scare me. Modern cultures defeated the Ancient ones, before they could prove themselves right. Whatever the Bible says does not count. The Bible is a compilation of other cultures' beliefs. Good Luck.

Oh very simple because it is going to end on my twentieth birthday. I can't wait it will be so much fun. Host of angels wanting to eat your heart like an apple, and tons of fire and explosions. Plus instead of pin the tail on the donkey we will be able to play pin the wrath of god on the sinners.

They used to say "The end is near! Repent!"

Now they say "The end is near! Vote for Al Gore!"
