The republicans are turning cannibalistic on their own here.

When McCain, whos an avid supporter of the war and Bush's plan makes a comment like "secretary of defence rumsfield ...go down as worst in history..for his mismanagement of the war"

after saying Rumsfield deserves respect and gratitude for his years of service only months before.

THEN flip flopping his stance on the war, yes there are many options we can redeploy our troops to the borders, then saying no we cannot until IRAQ stabalizes itself.

lets not forget he always said the war in IRAQ would be won easily in 02, but early this year said this war would be long and hard and tough.

abortion, gays, tax cuts, etc.

I dont care what any republicans try to say in defense, its just funny to me when they turn on their own.

No McCain for 08.
This is the begining of the end for him. This is democrats talkign about him, imagine how the republicans are going to tear him apart when the primaries come around,

It would seem by that statement that you want the United States to fail. Is this true? Just note: If you believe we should leave, you believe we should lose, which means failing.

And with Russia now NOT the animal it was, that mantle seems to have been taken on by this other huge communist country with it's strange 'party line' on consumer and industrial growth has it not ?

China - this country seem to be consuming Earth resources like there going out of fashion - and as for the global warming issue - did someone forget to tell them smogs aren't a good idea ?

For example - relevant to the last two points I just raised - a new coal powered power station every 10 days I have heard - is that true ?!!!!

What does the 'smart money' predict is going to happen in the infancy of this new century for the West and the East?

Check out her comments to the Democratic National Committee where she said “The other day the oil companies recorded the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits. And...": http://www.businessandmedia.org/commentary/2007/20070207105806.aspx

Notice she didn't say "tax", she said "take". Now, THAT'S the Hillary I know and love so well!

It's just too bad the media doesn't print or broadcast more of her outrageous pull-no-punches rhetoric - this game of pretending she's just another (effective?) politician is really getting old; she's still the crazed "I want it ALL!" monster she always was.

I have heard several members of this site respond to political question using this exact quote "We are the only terrorists in Iraq". WTF??? How could anyone possibly make such a statement in public, its a disgrace to everything I hold dear. Even if you dont agree with Bush or the war, to say there are no other terrorists? Weve been fighting these muslims since the 80's, have we been terrorists since then?

If an educated person is corrupted by the influence of power through education and uses knowledge to cause harm in the community and are assasinated ,do you think they would be missed? NO.There is a class system that has developed and needs to be abolished to enshore that everyone stands one the same ground ?John F Kennedy was an innocent educated assasinated person which was killed because of his views of what america should and could be?I think there should be no compassion for the educated who abuse society and are assasinated ? Corupted educated do more Harm to society than any other?.In iraq this is a problem as innocent educated are being killed to keep the control in one organisations hands.

So you think that capturing Bin Laden wouldn't have stopped 9/11? Well what about capturing Sheik Muhammed? Which occured after Bush enacted "The War on Terror". Bush reached out to countries all over the world with known terrorists that live in their countries to turn terrorists over to the United States. Sheik Muhammed was wanted for conspiring against the United States in a 1995 plot to blow up Airlines headed to America and the death of journalist Daniel Pearl who had his head cut off with a bouie knife. He was also revealed to be the "Mastermind" of 9/11. Please tell me, would democrats have enacted a similar war of terror, yeilding the mastermind of 9/11?

Florida has the longest state constitution in the USA.
There are hundreds of laws that contradict eachother and interfere with a working understanding of the law.
Many of these laws are put forth by lobbyists for large companies and religious organizations.

For example: In Florida, if you have a warrant out for your arrest (which happens if you fail to pay a minor traffic ticket) they have a law that prevents you from reregistering your car.
Another law allows towing companies to take posession of any car with expired plates.

There are still laws on the Florida constitution that criminalize homosexuality and mention God.

There is also a law that allows OJ Simpson to buy millions of dollars worth of property in Florida to avoid paying Nicole's Family their restitution.

Should Florida just rip it up and start over?

There is little doubt that there are too many cars on our roads and the situation must be addressed. Just allowing the number of cars on the road to increase unchecked is not a viable option. One suggestion that the government wishes to examine is to use a road pricing scheme to reduce the number of car journeys we make, or to encourage us to travel at quieter times. 1.7 million people have signed a petition objecting to even consideration of this matter (assuming they actually understood what they were signing for / against).

So, you 1.7 million - what do you think we can do to solve road congestion problems in UK?

A few years ago, my fiancee's family hired an "attorney" to help them get their paperwork so that they could get their green cards (they moved here from South Africa a few years ago)... To make a long story short he charged them thousands and thousands of dollars, and after a while they began to question him because it had been about a year or so and nothing was happening with their paperwork. He assured them that they were all taken care of, and then the next thing they knew, he had left the country with all of their money and they haven't heard of them since. They couldn't do anything at the time because they didn't have the correct paperwork, however, now they have hired a new and legit attorney, and have their green cards.

I have tried to search for this man online, but can't find anything on him. So, can anyone help me find any information about this man that ripped them off so terribly? His name is "Samuel Anvery"... any info/links would be much appreciated... thank you

Pictures of people with conditions such as mouth cancer, gangrene feet with missing toes and fat filled arteries etc...are now seen on cigarette packets as a warning of the reprocussions of what smoking will do to you.Basically most any serious/life threatening medical condition will be traced back to the effects of smoking. Even if you have never smoked, passive smoking could be blamed. I am over 40 and know a lot of people who smoke including my father who is going on 70 and began smoking at a pre-teen age. He is more fit and healthy than a lot of men his age. Also my great-aunt who is close to 90. She is a healthy, happy bundle of energy, in fact amazing for her age and has no intention of giving up smoking! I personally dont know anyone who smokes with any of the conditions being blamed for smoking. I think this is some sort of government conspiracy. I think chemicals in our everyday life is causing us to die early and the government knows this.Who agrees with me? or knows im right
