The republicans are turning cannibalistic on their own here.
When McCain, whos an avid supporter of the war and Bush's plan makes a comment like "secretary of defence rumsfield ...go down as worst in history..for his mismanagement of the war"
after saying Rumsfield deserves respect and gratitude for his years of service only months before.
THEN flip flopping his stance on the war, yes there are many options we can redeploy our troops to the borders, then saying no we cannot until IRAQ stabalizes itself.
lets not forget he always said the war in IRAQ would be won easily in 02, but early this year said this war would be long and hard and tough.
abortion, gays, tax cuts, etc.
I dont care what any republicans try to say in defense, its just funny to me when they turn on their own.
No McCain for 08.
This is the begining of the end for him. This is democrats talkign about him, imagine how the republicans are going to tear him apart when the primaries come around,

As one lady wrote MC Can has no spine, a slug dress in Armani suit.
MC Cain got his power from when his dad was an Admirl and helped cover up the deliberate killing of US naval men on board the ship Liberty.
he further gained power by a good propaganda machine for hisconduct in Viet prison camp, the ony prisoner to come home fatter than when he entered and then had the cahones to put his arm around the man who ran prison camp when he came to US Congtess. Propaganda to hide the fact he asked his commander while there if it would be all right to take the pardon offered by the North Vietnamese Commander. His medals same as opthers who wre captured and endured but flashed twn times more by him.
He further gained power when he helped cover up the scandal of money laundering by men like John glen and his cronies in GoP and Demo partys in Arizona and then onece more during the savings and loan scandals in which Bush's kid was messed up in.
It is no coincidence tht his state has been the home to many a retired old mafia man where money was easily laundered.
He then kissed Bush behind and let his family be slandered trying to win an election and never defended them at all and still hasn't, and to make matters worse he got kissed by the man who slandered him and hugs him to this day.
This guy is a toad and shold stay away from politics as he leaves warts everywhere he is seen.

McCain has no spine.
His position on the Iraq war has morphed into that of Bush - despite this having been proven to be a failure.
His social agenda is morphing into that of the Christian Right.
The ONLY thing McCain has occasionally gotten right in the past few years is opposing some clear pork barrel spending bills, but I'm confident that with his need to raise over a hundred million dollars for a presidential campaign, those principles are also negotiable.
John McCain will go down with Bush, down with his failing war and failing radical fundamentalist social agenda.
It's sad. I used to respect John McCain. I still honor his war service - but as a politician, he's become a total sellout since 2000.
One example - Roe v. Wade, contrast his positions in August 1999 and today. Flip flopper!

I've always admired McCain even though our politics are polar opposites.
As far as whether or not he is a flip-flopper, I don't think so. I think the reason the Repulican party is turning on him so badly is because they want to make sure someone gets into office that is pro-war.
McCain has publicly stated if he is elected, he will end the war quickly.

He needs to drop his bid for President. He should have been on Rumsfeld, like a fly on sh**, right after Abu Ghraib. It was obvious then that Rumsfeld was a lacky. Since McCain knew he would be in the race, he should have showed his spine then and rallied for Rumsfeld resignation. Why beat up on Rumsfeld now that he's no longer in the administration. That shows that McCain in incapable of making immediate, tough decisions.

I saw part of an interview where McCain said it took us more
than a few months to get into this war & will take more than
a few months to end - then, in another statement, he was
asked if he knew how much longer it would go on & he said,
just a few more months. He might not be ok.

That in simple terms more suitable PROVES the shortcoming of information of the McCain supporters and the Obama haters. McCain said it will be "tricky" to be happy with u.s.. i have not heard any uproar on that. there's a wide distinction between the skill first female making that type of remark and the skill president. The lack of expertise stuns me and leaves me speechless. McCain's turn flopping PROVES that he's a liar. he's one among those individual who says what you pick to hearken to, once you pick to hearken to it. Then he is going and does the different. we can't stand for that in a presidential candidate. Obama is via no means a hypocrite for replacing his thoughts on public funding. i imagine it really is a functional pass. Tax payer money ought to no longer fund the final election. i do not help McCain. Why ought to my tax money help fund his campaign? Likewise, why ought to those adverse to Obama pick their tax money to assist fund his campaign? it is going to probable be performed away with.

John Mccain is flip flopping on many issues and it is the reason that he is not being nominated for being the candidate for President of the Republicans.

I agree. McCain has completely sold himself out and become the very thing he despised.
At one time, I thought he was presidential. Now I realize he is nothing of the sort.
