I guess by tha lack of responses that the frontrunner supporters are willing to ignore this issue as well. Thanks to those who answered (except Jbarr) I guess we are alone on this issue.

Yes it bothers me that both sides use the word reform to imply they are doing something to appease the masses, rather than specifically naming the so-called reforms. They can convince you their reforms are your reforms, when in fact, they might be the opposite. They need to start listing specific things they stand for and believe in and how it will affect various groups and hopefully not leave out someone's demographic as they often do. This way when we vote, we'll know who and what we're voting for (as opposed to a fill in the blank slogan).

Pay NO attention to the spin, the wealthy ruling class want to continue the supply of cheap labor whether it be illegal or legal as soon as they change the laws! The crime is Employers & landords NOT being aggressively prosecuted with long prison terms handed out, all assests seized & their property auctioned off cheap to a law abiding citizen! Yes it bothers me on this issue & many more being ignored or NOT addressed! Home Grown proverty ties into this with Americans being left out of the money loop!

Politicians think it's risky to use meaningful words when explaining their positions. If nobody knows what position you have regarding X, then we can just read our own ideas into your words, and I might be tricked into assuming that your position on X is the same as mine. If you declare the same position as me, then you gain nothing since I already assumed it, and people who oppose me are going to be alienated by your pro-me stance... if you declare the opposite position from me, then you alienate me in favor of the other people. But, if you don't take a stand, we both might assume you're against the other side.

This isn't unique to illegal immigration, and isn't a new concept, that's just how career politicians are.

It is called avoiding the issue so they do not piss off the Hispanic community.

Reform can consist of anything from "Let's just fling open the doors to our country" to "Let's spend billions of dollars on mass deportations and imprisoning the employers and landlords that aid illegals"

I say we start confiscating business that hire illegals and imprison the management and confiscate the landlords property that rents to the illegals.

Yes.
I believe that immigration should be done through LEGAL means.
If an individual wishes to enter our country, please do so through legal channels. Don't break our laws and expect to reap benefits.
This is just common sense.
