There is a difference between a nuclear bomb and a bomb made from fissal material? This is the same argument the al Qaida allied media is using to downplay the two recent chemical weapons attacks.

My personal opinion is that these factors matter as much as the issues - sometimes more. No one knows what we'll face in the next term.

Try to give a list or description of such traits. I'm hoping people will get away from politics - we don't even need names! - and really be honest with themselves and us.

What are you looking for?

Thanks.

For one of my classes i have to write paper on why prostitution should be illegal. However, since that is not my personal stance, it is sort of hard to get going. What are some arguments against it? So far i am thinking of the argument against the exploitation of women and dangers associated with it. I need one or two more good points to argue. What might some be?

With the "patriot act" and the "Military Commissions Act of 2006" where they both point blank say that anyone (including American Citizens) can be held and interrogated included torture and RAPE to get confessions?

Where is the willingness to LIVE without Governmental control? If you don't believe me just try flying. 9/11 would never have happened if they had the impenetrable cock pit doors in the first place. There were plunty of warnings of terrorists storming into the cock pit to institute this, but no one ever did anything, why?

And then you expect the Government to protect you when they can't even CLOSE the borders? It just baffles me, is all.

I'm starting to the think so. I just heard an ABC news report that read:
"6 insurgents were killed in a recent battle, however, although unconfirmed, it appears woman and children may have died as well."

WHAT? "Unconfirmed"......how can you possible report something "unconfirmed." Folks, I hear this sorta negative media spin every day and it's beyond ridiculous.

How many instances have there been where a current American president or Legislator have had children in combat. I imagine it is probably less than 5 historically since VietNam. Please give specific examples.

Last year our government gave Kellogg, Brown and Root 285 million dollars to detain immigrants and "other projects" including protesters.
If they come for you will you go quietly. Will you let them take your friends and family members.

I'm not saying people shouldn't be able to voice themselves, but when they maliciously paint the president with lies and offer untrue and card stacked evidence of aspects of the war that they are blowing severely out of proportion; shouldn't they face charges of treason and seditition? essentially they are sticking up for the enemy at that poit just for their own political objectives.

It seems clear to me it was in 1933 when Roosevelt put us on a permanant state of emergency power and added the American people to the Trading with the Enemies list according to Senate Report 93-549.
What does your understanding of history suggest to you is the year we became Fascistic?

If it is, then how can Repubs say that Bush has never lied when he has used millions of taxpayers money to support propaganda?

2007-02-22 03:40:32 · 7 answers · asked by hera 4

The simple fact is that Bush is indeed guilty of war crimes. If he doesn't get impeached, he will be charged with war crimes as soon as he leaves office. Rummy has already been charged, which is why he wont travel to Germany. It is only time before Bush and Chaney follow Rummy. The reason why Bush and Chaney haven't been charged yet is the fact they are still heads of state.

I live in a world where there are other countries OTHER than just the US. The US NEEDS to make diplomacy work and not just based on fabricated lies and propaganda like Bush has done.

Don't people realize that the liberties they cherish so much, like continually insulting their own country and it's predominant religion, are ILLEGAL in muslim countries?

From the news today:

"ALEXANDRIA, Egypt (Reuters) - An Alexandria court convicted an Egyptian blogger on Thursday for insulting both Islam and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and sentenced him to four years in jail over his writings on the Internet."

How can you read that and still think that somehow there is moral equivalence between the USA, where you have the freedom to insult your president and any religion you choose, and countries where that thing can get you sentenced to 4 years in a prison where you have no rights at all.

Under Sharia law, women are property. If they are raped, they can be killed for bringing dishonor on the family. That religion is the antithesis of everything Americans claim to love.

Why do people continue to give it respect?

Your NOT organizing on a National level to prosecute the Employers & Landlords with immidiate enforcement why? I guess you want to end up like the American Indian Tribes or the indigenous! Except you won't get any land or a place to live, maybe become a begger!

the "offensive" & when Bush's offensive is over they just come back & take over there old stomping grounds?

The Viet Cong invented this tactic that was so effective against the US military in Vietnam. I wonder if Bush has ever read about that?

Daddy is so gung-ho about this war. Other parents have children there, why does he not ask his daughters to enlist and serve? Maybe he expects others to bleed and die for his recklessness while his own are safe at home.

Enough is enough! This isn't the 60's, no one is out protesting the war in the streets, the baby boomer's time is over. It is sad to see the posturing and pandering costing US and Iraqi lives.

Might it be because they use their intelligence agency Mossad (who wrote the book on how to defeat terrorists) in combination w/ a great defense strategy & NOT their regular military, who are used to fight conventional wars which is what they are experts at?

Do you think Bush might be able to learn something from the Israelis who have been fighting a war on terror for the last 40 years & he's been fighting for just 5 years?
