Enough is enough! This isn't the 60's, no one is out protesting the war in the streets, the baby boomer's time is over. It is sad to see the posturing and pandering costing US and Iraqi lives.

The Dems can't get a good FAILURE out of the current administration without breaking a few eggs. Unfortunately, our troops (including two of my sons) are those eggs.

Bush must fail at any cost... so our troops are just collateral damage.

Actually there are people protesting the war in the streets but that is a mute point. I don't see a lot of people or politicians not supporting the troops as with Vietnam. I know I support the troops that have given everything to serve their country. In fact I know several people who have done multiple tours of duty. I don't know how discussing our plan of action or at least making sure we have a plan costs the lives of our troops? Could you explain that? Let me ask you something? Is there a fire escape plan in your building? If so isn't that also costing people their lives by admitting that at some point it may be necessary to sacrifice the building for the sake of human life? Same thing really. How long would you have our country continue to support a mission without a goal or progress at the expense of thousands of human lives. This is typical of a Bush supporter. You don't think anything should be questioned. You are so enamoured by authority and your false sense of patriotism that you refuse to use your own reason and sense to gauge the issue at hand. You follow blindly and without cause or reason. This is the definition of a fanatic and sorry to say often a sign of a lack of education and understanding of the issues at hand.

The reason you don't see "young" people out protesting in the streets is for many reasons but the largest of those reasons is there isn't a draft---YET---like there was in the 60's!

Democrats aren't sacrificing soldiers!

GW Bush is! And for what exactly---spreading Democracy to a country of people who aren't capable of choosing Democracy or actually implementing Democracy because of the religious beliefs that they hold.
We have an administration full of people that in the private sector are aligned with corporations that make obscene amounts of money through military contracts and the oil business.
So they are the ones that decide when we go to war and with which Middle Eastern big oil countries????

That doesn't smell bad to anyone??

Let's just say, for the sake of arguement, that the 9/11 attacks were only performed by Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is located mainly in Afghanistan. Mainly financed through Sunni supporters. Which are mainly Saudi Arabians.

So we go to Iraq --why is still in debate.

But we know that many of the helicopter attacks that have been going on in Iraq are from the Sunnis. This information is coming from our own military.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2006-12-08-saudi-sunnis_x.htm

And yet it is the Democrats that are sacrificing our military?

Bush has very close ties through his private business practices with the Saudis ---why doesn't he ask his "friends" to stop this?

Could it possibly be because he doesn't really care where the attacks are coming from as long as he can blame the Iranians.

Bush and his PNAC administration are in it for globalization and OUR military are his muscle!
Why ANY American lets these bastards get away with letting American soldiers fight and die to make Bush&Co. wealthier is beyond me and you should be ashamed!

I am a Patriotic American and I will not let Fascism take over my country and I have e-mailed and written and called my states representatives to ask them what they are going to do about this.
When the presidential candidates come to the state in which I live I will also ask them these questions!

Wanting the soldiers back home is not a thing of hatred of Bush. They never should have been sent there to start with. The whole war was a reckless ill-planned adventure of George Bush based on a web of lies to Congress and the American public. The mission was never clear, it changed as public opinion changed. Thousands and thousands have died as a result of this action by Bush. It has cost us the good will of the world and made us the most hated nation on earth because of the innocents in Iraq that were made martyrs. This has cost the USA billions upon billions that could have gone other places in better ways. Could have been used for better causes. This war was planned long before the tragedy of 9/11. It has made far more terrorists than it has caught. Hatred of Bush has nothing to do with it. It has to do with him being incompetent and inept. The best way to support our military is to get them out of Iraq as quickly as possible. UK just did so and so have other countries. USA should get a clue.

Bush is a head strong person that will do things that he sees fit for his agenda. And democrats being out of power for some time, is applying repercussions from that reasons.

It is amazing how you conveniently forget that it is Bush that got us into this war. The Congress's discussions have not had any affect on the war. The troops are still over there fighting. It is also amazing that you think that the way you feel represents Americans at large, when every poll has shown that the majority of Americans do not support the war.

Because the dems have no core values. If the polls were in favor of the war the dems would fall all over themselves trying to be the most in favor. American soldiers mean little to the dems.

The last time I checked, soldiers were dying because they were put there by Bush. How can you blame just the democrats for it?

Per your argument; The Democrats are sending our soldiers to fight a pointless war in Iraq because the hate Bush? By the way, Geroge, it is "Democratic".

It is difficult to argue that protesting the war causes more soldier's lives than fighting the war.
