What is this missile defense system, exactly; how does it work? Why is is necessary to set one up in Europe? Is it for defense against possible threats from the Middle East? Also, I read that Russia is threatening to pull out from the INF treaty because they were not informed of the U.S. decision, and they feel threatened. What would that mean for the U.S. if Russia pulls out? Will they become a threat to us? Is there any way to fix the situation, and if so, how? Should the U.S. just back off with their plans?

And that we're in Iraq for oil?!
(Still... I cant prove it... I just heard someone else say it)

#1 It would solve our oil problem, since we'll own it now.
#2 It would eliminate rogue nations, therefore we could just have a large police force.
#3 It would eliminate illegal immigration since everyone would be a subject of the United States.
#4 It would eliminate trade deficits since now we own everyone.
#5 It would eliminate the national debt since now we own everything.

Sounds like a win-win to me!

There numerous benefits of the war.
First and most important, It ghas been shown, thatif you are crazy dictator, You can and will be deposed, regardless how big is your army. There was a trend of little dictators like Lukashenko and Miloshevich and alikes. now they ve got a messsage.

2. The entire Iraqi nation was liberated. Did anyone see cheers on the streets after Hussein lost his power?..

3. Hussein was actually prosecuted for genocide. No such thing heppened after WWII

4 It showed once again, that UN is a joke, and we need a change not to allow genocide any more.

And more and more. World became a better and safer place.

Its easy to be antiwar from a comfort of your home. But if your relative was dissolved in Acid in Husseins torture chambers, how would you feel?.

I feel that the fact that we have so much homelessness in this country is a disgrace. Being homeless doesn't mean that you are lazy, an alcoholic, or a drug addict. Many people lose their homes because of illness, not being able to pay their bills, and lack of health insurance. 40% of the homeless today are families with children. I have recently became aware of The Bringing America Home Act. The Bringing America Home Act was introduced in the 109th Congress. This bill is designed to end homelessness in the U.S and includes housing, health, economic, and civil rights components. The main reason I wrote this question is to bring awareness to people that there is an act in Congress that they can influence by signing a petition at: http://www.bringingamericahome.org/act.html or http://www.nationalhomeless.org/baha/petition.html

The ad for Newt's new book screams out, "Get Your Free Chapter". It reminds me of those infomercials I see on T.V., "If you order now we'll send you a free chapter, a $50 dollar value, every week for life".

In another ad, he invites supporters to submit a You Tube video for members of congress to view. He dangles prizes to the winner. What will you get for your efforts if you win? How about a signed copy of the contract with America. Wow!

I think Gingrich has vastly underestimated the intelligence of the public with these ridiculous ads and solicitations. Whats your opinion?

Does it end with a global government that is of, by and for the people? Does it end with a global government that is of, by and for the corporation, like the Soviet Union was? We already have global corporations in this country that are apparently not accountable to our of, by and for the people government. Where is this going?
