I think most of them have good intentions. Destroying the country is an unintended consequence of their ignorance.
They are exactly like children: a parent will tell them not to do something because they'll get hurt, or it's for their own good. The child is a child and thinks they know better, so they go ahead and do what they were told not to. Then when they get hurt, they blame their parents, or society, or somebody else, anybody but themselves.
Children hurt themselves and others because they are ignorant and make bad decisions, just like liberals.

The so-called conservatives are destroying America, by building big government with more and more control over our lives.
They have stolen the honorable word "conservative" because they are "big government" fanatics, not real conservatives.
Real conservatives would not harness the power of the presidency to try to prevent Terri Schiavo from disposing of her own life as she wishes, without surrendering to the fanaticism of the religious nuts.
Real conservatives would not abuse our military to make them tools to meddle in the affairs of foreign nations; they would bring all American troops home to American soil. Now.
Real conservatives would not run up our nationbal debt to the highest ever figures.
Can somebody tell me why these falsely so-called "conservatives" hate America and want to destroy it? Oh, let's just pretend the names Halliburton and Enron don't mean anything, and that the Bush family never had a cozy business relationship with the Bin Laden family.

I am an American to start with. Americans live in a bubble. We have a narrow perspective of culture, religion, and government. Our country needs to learn a great deal more about other country's beliefs systems, economic states, historical influences etc. We have a very arrogant attitude that the way we think is right. And its not a matter of right and wrong, its just different. For example, most other cultures believe that "if the nail is sticking up you hammer it back in". Individuality and individual choices are disrespectful and are reasons to be ashamed. Here in America we pride our individuality and individual freedom of choice. So when we go into another country and demand freedom, what exactly is freedom to those people? Do we Americans have similar goals when we "help" other countries or are they our goals?

I don't think most Liberals hate America. The Far Left hates America. They hate capitalism, the military, etc. and America is representative of all those things.

The easy answer is they feel guilty for how prosperous the nation is compared to the rest of the World. Just about all liberalism can be tied back to self-loathing. It's also why they are so mean spirited I think.

They don't. They just want to restore honor and decency to the White House and true fiscal conservatives agree.

They're spoiled little brats. They probably need a good spanking, but they'd enjoy it too much.
