As an average Joe, he's kinda funny...one of those "gorsh" type guys. Wouldn't mind having a ranch next to him.
His politics? Every once in a while, he says something I respect. For instance: "We have good citizens who profess no faith at all", or "You can disagree with the war and still support the troops".
Other than that....eh, I can do without him.

While I don't think he's evil incarnate, I strongly dislike his attitude of condescension toward his own people.
