Well, it'd be nice if Bill Clinton apologized first for not nipping the problem in the bud when he knew about it and had the ability to do something. At any rate, even if Bush did apologize, people like you would go around dragging him down even further because an apology is nothing more than words. And I would have to agree with that reason -- what good are words, especially five and a half years after the fact?

Actually, it seems like it really doesn't matter what Bush does anymore, there's always a substantial group of noisy people who say they don't like it for one reason or another. I thought the solution to the country's problems is bipartisan cooperation. Well, how can that happen if both sides are slamming each other for saying something no matter what it is -- they're just disagreeing because of perceived political benefit? So much for cooperation.

I'm still waiting for Clinton to apologize for letting Bin Laden get away and allowing him to plan 9/11 during the Clinton presidency.

Never. And honestly, he may have been oblivious to everything that was behind it and that fact that it was coming ... but I believe his advisors aka his dad's former cohorts knew. George Bush was just a pawn. And he will continue to let people deceive him because once he's been fooled, he'll never admit he made a mistake.
