.... they have no idea how many asylum seekers/paedos/rapists/murderers/terrorists there are, and any that ARE caught get let out early anyway?

They honestly seem to be more interested in snooping on regular people such as you and I than doing anything to fight crime. The Home Office are basically saying 'look, we don't know how many dangerous people there are because we ****ed up, but you must tell us ALL of your details in order to be safe!'

Are they more concerned about creating a big brother state than actually catching REAL criminals?!

JFK, Churchill, Martin Luther King, etc etc. Why aren’t there any great political speakers anymore - people who inspire us and the world? Have we sacrificed political substance for image, and vision of change for a five second news clip?

Unemployment is at an all time low. Gasoline prices are going down. There have been no attacks on US soil since 9-11. Inflation has stayed low historically speaking and interested rates are the lowest in history. All of these factors allow American's to fufill their dreams. You can get a job, work and make money to do what you want. Why are people displeased?

It has some good points but alot of bad ones :
ie :This information might fall into the wrong persons hands.

A BIG BROTHER STATE?
What are peoples views on this?

Did you know that two days after Thomas Jefferson (the man who coined the phrase) wrote that phrase in a letter to Baptists in Connecticutt that he attended a church service held at the House of Representatives building on Capitol Hill?

He did so repeatedly ever Sunday thereafter through out his term in office. Jefferson believed government at all levels could accommodate religious expression -- even worship services -- as long as it was voluntary and the state didn't pick favorites. Jefferson saw no conflict between the First Amendment and the availability of public property, public facilities and even government personnel to religious bodies. At one point Jefferson remarked "that no nation could be governed without religion", he did not have in mind the corrupted variety of government churches. In this, he argued exactly as the most pious Founders did: Religious belief -- freely chosen and given wide public space -- nurtured morality and thus supported a free society.

How does one obtain immunity from prosecution like Blair and Bush?

Why are these murders and liars still able to govern?

Is your tax supporting one big gravy train for Blair’s friends or is it that he is just too incompetent to make decisions with his own cabinet? I don’t remember seeing any of these advisers mentioned at the ballot box.
