The American Superpower will have to run its course first. America isn't finished yet. The nightmare would be for a Middle Eastern country to become a superpower and I don't think that is likely.
My guess would be China but we'll have to wait and see what happens to America and when that will run its course.
For good or bad, tremendous change will happen in the next 50 years and perhaps sooner....just a hunch.

Within the next twenty years, China will be the biggest superpower that the world has ever seen. With unlimited resources of people, they'll be able to literally take over the world and extend their borders across everything. China will be bigger than anyone ever thought.
So yourself a favor and start learning Chinese. I'm learning German and Japanese first, but I'll be learning Chinese fairly soon. Better to be prepaired, I believe.

China and Europe are already superpowers. At the moment America is the only superbully.
