I just got a Hitomi Yaida album yesterday, and I haven't stopped listening to it. I love Japanese culture, language and people - especially Japanese girls! :)
As far as I know, it's in the Japanese constitution that you will never go to war with another country, which is the reason for the creation of the Japanese Self Defence Forces. If this is correct, it can only be applauded.
Don't worry about your English, it's better than some British people's.

I have a very positive view of modern Japan and it's history before the 1930's and after World War 2. I have always admired many aspects of Japanese culture. My Japanese friends are cultured and highly intelligent people who work very hard in their businesses.
Don't know a lot about the Japanese Self Defence Force but media reports suggest they are disciplined and efficient.
Your grasp of written English seems to be excellent if I may say so.

I dont really know anything about your self defence forces but they are probably not bad.

I think your Engligh is very good! better than many English people's in my opinion.
My image of Japan is a very high-tech nation where honour still exists, and people have respect for each other.
The Japanese language! very difficult.
JSDF, fine no problem. I don't see why your military should be restricted to self defence in the current political climate.

Having taught many Japanese, English, in England, I can honestly say I found the majority very charming, although a little too quiet in the classroom ( i used to beg them to speak - how different from many rude and arrogant English students!) I respect Japanese culture but I do have one major concern. PLEASE DON'T EAT WHALES AND DOLPHINS!!!!

I have always thought of Japan as being very over crowded, homes are very small and very expensive with children often inheriting their parent mortgage.
I also think you are very advanced in your technology, a lot of Brits love your cars
If you want to know more please feel free to email me.
