I do. And if you don't, then don't respond here. I am not in the mood for your propaganda, fake support of a president that cannot be supported by any rational thought process.

Thankfully, President Bush and Prime Minister Blair saw fit to eliminate Saddam, the genocidal despot. I question whether Liberal Dems would even defend their own mothers, wives and daughters from rape--I have a strong suspicion they might seek to negotiate with the rapist.

Saddam violated umpteen UN Resolutions, every major Democrat is on video stating that Saddam had WMDs dating back to 1998 (including Clinton, Albright, Reid, Pelosi, Edwards, Rockefeller, Kerry, H. Clinton and Dean), and he murdered over 1,000,000 people. Congress approved the War Resolution (with the vast majority of those Dems voting yes), and some of these Loser Liberals are saying the war was "illegal"? Really? From what law school did you graduate Order of the Coif? Get in the game losers.

I am learning about Propaganda and I am fascinated by it. I'm about to read some books on the subject, but I'm curious if people out there can provide me with some good examples of Propaganda in our world today along with an explanation of why the item is Propaganda. I'd appreciate examples from both sides of the political asile if possible! Thanks!

Apart from speaking skills, what else does being an attorney offer for aspiring politicians? Would a government prosecutor/public defender or private attorney gain more skills/be more suited for public office?

But, what about the other way around? "Those who would give up a little security to gain a little liberty deserve neither and lose both". Now, before you start calling me a fascist pig or something, know this: I am not a fascist, but I do see both liberty and security to be intertwined. In a way, when we lose our liberty, we also lose our security and when we lose our security, we lose our liberty. Do you see this as true or not? If so, why?

I'm pretty tuned in to political and policy matters, but there's something I just don't get.

It's frequently said (by pundits, analysts) that Rumsfeld and Cheney dominated Bush's first term and were on one side of things with Condoleeza Rice on the other side. The same talking heads say that in the second term, Rice's has been the side more favored by Bush.

Excuse me, but HOW is Rice different? Where did she disagree with Rummy and Cheney on Iraq? Wasn't her Rumminess and Cheneyness one of the reasons she took Powell's job at State? She strikes me as solidly neocon - she thinks we're right on Iraq and hates conflict resolution (e.g Israel-Hezbollah last summer).

Why is this difference continually drawn, by analysts from both the left and the right? I'm not asking for any partisan purpose, though I readily admit to disliking the Bushies, which may be why I don't see the difference I'm asking about - so, thoughtful Republican replies are especially welcome.

Thanks.

Ok. In my school project I have to tel the diffrence between democracts and republicans. And Conservatives and Liberals.
I know what it is but I don't actualy understand it and the principles behind it.

So I want to ask if anyone could explain why you chose to be a democract/republican
and/or
Conservative/Liberal.
