While stereotyping obviously doesn't apply to everyone, isn't there some truth in it?
For instance, isn't it true that the majority of Bush Supporters are Christians, watch wrestling and nascar, and drive Fords or Dodges, and are likely to own a gun and participate in Hunting.
Democrats are more likely to be agnostic or atheists, watch or read hollywood gossip and drive Toyotas or Nissans. Few are gun owners and few hunt.

Seriously, if you are Democrat or a republican, surely you can find the truth in at least one of my three stereotypes I've mentioned.

I'll be the first to admit that I love hollywood gossip, I drive a Toyota Prius, and yes I am agnostic. Although I do own a gun, I keep it in my house for protection only. I don't hunt, but I do take shooter safety

While I can't speak for republicans, I actually come from a republican family, and can personally vouch that at least 3 of the 4 so called stereotypes are true.

I've seen many people make comparisons about how "hitler did not do anything to the u.s. either", and the response, "we didn't get in the war until japan bombed us"

Do people not realize that we were involved in the war before Japan bombed pearl harbor?

The US was aiding the british navy in secret. The japanese bombed the US in retaliation for this.

So technically, we did get involved before pearl harbor, and Hitler did not attack the U.S.

could you ignorant people stop correcting someone when they say, "hitler never attacked us either", because it is in fact, technically correct.

I wonder if anyone knows how to stop the Governor "Butch" of Idaho" to allows the killing 500 wolves?
Governor " Butch " of Idaho going to support killing 500 or more wolves in Idaho and even going to kill the wolves himself and he's going to do it in a month or next two. He doesn't care if its the cubs or mothers or Male wolves. He said it's just for fun! Leave them dead as prize! If he allows that happen then allow any one will kill or trap other animals even little cute foxes while they are alive bleeding to death for hours.
Wants to know if there is a way to stop or find a somebody brave enough through to send the message to the Idaho Governor " Butch" about leaving the wolves alone! I am sad for the wolves ,these never hurt us, only stay inside the wild life- living in the forests. I just don't understand. Think about the cubs who need their mothers around! I tried the letter, I have not heard anything from him! I bet he threw it away. Maybe a petition ? anyone you know how to use it? I need some body out there to represent us? Never know if have them in next generation.

I fail to understand why everyone hates the BNP!
They are just another political party with their own policies!
They are not racist, they are simply patriotic.
They are as racist as everyone else, only they tell people what they think instead of keeping it in. I think that in this country, if foriegn people come here they should comply with the rules, and be made to support Queen and country and wear clothes that are acceptable in public [i.e Brits are not aloud hoodies so why are filthy muslims aloud that scarf around their whole head except their eyes?] and they must be MADE to fullent speak English, and if not they should be imprisoned.
It's simple, if they don't like the British rules, they can go.
If we go to their countries, I would expect us to be a good model of our country, and comply to their rules, why is it not the same here?
They should be MADE to be a part of the community and when they do not do this they should NOT complain that we don't accept them!
All hail the BNP!

The new Dept of Stupidity could take over all the stupidity from the rest of the branches of Government.

This would transfer almost all the Federal Government Stupidity and move it to this one Department.

The Dept of Stupidity could be located in Washington DC next to the Dept of Corruption, Dept of Lies and the Dept of Ignorance.

They are all there located behind the most successful piece of camoflage ever invented...the American FLAG

14 people from an advisory board of the Carter Center resigned in the light of Jimmy Carter's position on Israeli/Palestinian relations, saying:

"'Israelis, through deed and public comment, have consistently spoken of a desire to live in peace and make territorial compromise to achieve this status. The Palestinian side has consistently resorted to acts of terror as a national expression and elected parties endorsing the use of terror, the rejection of territorial compromise and of Israel's right to exist. Palestinian leaders have had chances since 1947 to have their own state, including during your own presidency when they snubbed your efforts.'"

If you look at the history of the world (I'm a history major) for as long as their have been civilizations there has been always been stronger groups of people attacking and taking over the land of weaker groups of people for their resources. This is a central theme in the history of our world. The summerians, the Israelites, the Babylonians, the spartans, of course the Romans, the Japanese, and even in more modern history the European colonialism in Africa, Asia and the Americas. However, in the 19th century a phenomenon came about. All of a sudden people started beliving this practice to be immoral. Therefore, governments had to start fabricating reasons for the take over of another country in which they deeply craved the resources of. Thats why Bush had to fabricate very flimsy reasons for attacking Iraq. Is there really anyone out there that is educated that has bought into this?
