I wonder if anyone knows how to stop the Governor "Butch" of Idaho" to allows the killing 500 wolves?
Governor " Butch " of Idaho going to support killing 500 or more wolves in Idaho and even going to kill the wolves himself and he's going to do it in a month or next two. He doesn't care if its the cubs or mothers or Male wolves. He said it's just for fun! Leave them dead as prize! If he allows that happen then allow any one will kill or trap other animals even little cute foxes while they are alive bleeding to death for hours.
Wants to know if there is a way to stop or find a somebody brave enough through to send the message to the Idaho Governor " Butch" about leaving the wolves alone! I am sad for the wolves ,these never hurt us, only stay inside the wild life- living in the forests. I just don't understand. Think about the cubs who need their mothers around! I tried the letter, I have not heard anything from him! I bet he threw it away. Maybe a petition ? anyone you know how to use it? I need some body out there to represent us? Never know if have them in next generation.

You are right, he should not allow the killing of 500 wolves. He should allow the killing of all the wolves.The wolves that are in Idaho now are not even native here, they were brought in from Canada. All Wolves are worthless, they kill the wild game and they also kill the ranchers animals.Do some research and see how many sheep, and cattle they killed last year.I think people who dont live in Idaho should have no say in what goes on here. Wolves were native in Central Park, maybe we should introduce them back , you could enjoy them there. All I know is that I hope I can stand next to "Butch", and help him out a little when the season opens.
P.S.Wolf babies are called pups not cubs

Wrathinif put it right on the money. If ya live in Idaho, learn the facts. If ya don't, shut up and leave us alone. Wolves are the worst killers I've ever known, and the more I learn about them, the more I fear them. I've lived in the wilderness and hiked all over lonely country my entire life, but I've never been so scared as when I was hiking once in a lonely part of the Seven Devils Wilderness Area and happened to see a wolf parelleling me. Then I wouldn't see it for an hour and I'd forget about it. Then suddenly I'd happen to catcha glimpse of it through the trees, still following me. A freaky feealing...they aren't scared of humans, they terrorize elk, deer, cattle, and sheep. They serve no purpose, and I hope Mr. Otter does just as he says. I garauntee if he is able to swing a bill to allow the killing of all but 100 wolves in Idaho, he will become my favortie politician. As one Wyoming gentleman put it, Wolves are just government sponsered terrorists.

have you ever even finished any analyze in this? As a usa bumpkin, i have heard about themes like this, and what's happening is that the wolves were hunted too a lot earlier, and now that individuals have realized what they have finished they have enable the wolves come back. Now we are finding out that they are coming again in too tremendous of numbers. If the inhabitants keeps to strengthen, they're going to eat each thing else and then die of starvation, leaving each wild animal useless. truly of letting that ensue they are probable having a managed hunt with the intention to maintain a healthy inhabitants of wolves. both that or he's giving in to pressure from farmers who're unhappy about wolves ingesting the occasional cattle and hurting their revenue.

He never said it was "just for fun". Hunting is a big industry in Idaho and brings a lot of tourism dollars here. Over-predation is a serious issue here. Do you even live in Idaho? If you don't then butt out of the affairs of other states. If you do live in Idaho, you should: A. learn the name of the governor and B. realize you're in the minority.

P.S. The governor of Idaho's name is C.L. Otter. "Butch" is his nickname.

i'm not sure the governor has the power to dictate a special hunt. I think only the Federal and State Wildlife agencys have that ability. If he does have that ability i think the only recourse is a lawsuit in state court. I'd consult a lawyer if you feel strongly about the issue.

Don't live there, but have friends that do and they are sick and tired of Wolfie, showing up on their front porch for dinner. And, their little twins, are sick and tired of having to stay inside, just so Wolfie can roam the neighborhood.

My suggestion for you, park your butt out in the yard at night and have a little heart to heart talk with Wolfie and tell him how much you appreciate him! Second thought, I bet that's the same way you would resolve a war. A heart to heart talk with the murdering thug terrorist.
