Why do some people pronounce it with a soft end and some with a hard end? Does the name originate in France?

The media has made Obama its latest "darling". All I see is a fresh face and a man who presents himself well. This does not qualify him to be President. Indeed, he is one of the newest senators in the US who was elected when the Illinois GOP's lead candidate self destructed. Has anyone looked at his track record? What did he do before the senate? What, if any, qualifications does he have to be President of the United States.

The Taliban and Al Qeada could hardly be called "liberal" in there dogma. They are extreme fundi's right?

As a matter of fact, we are fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan to help them create a more liberal society. Right?

They say that because the president of Iran allegedly said he was glad the dems won the congress back, that it shows that democrats are in favor of terrorists. Give me a break.
First of all, since when does it matter what our enemies say? Screw them. Since when should we be basing anything on the ravings of some extremist? We should be making our choices based on which party has an effective plan to win, not on what some freak in the middle east opines. But I guess that's too complex a concept for you cry-baby conservatives.

The president of Iran wouldn't even BE the president if it wasn't for Bush's axis of evil speech. So if anything, he's wrong to be happy about the dem's victory, because a moderate approach to Iran will only REDUCE his power in his own country.

I was born in Salem Ohio and am trying to obtain a copy of my birth certificate. I called the office of vital statistics at the courthouse and they said it would be $21 for the certificate and $24 to mail. I think that this is a little ridiculous. Does anyone no of a less expensive more convenient method?

I just watched one of his movies titled Terrorstorm, and it goes into great depths on describing how the American Gov. uses "false flags" in order to achieve power in other countries. When I say false flags, I mean that our gov. stages terrorist plots and makes it sees as if the other country does it, so they have a dignified reason to invade. I am not trying to offend anyone here by this, but alot of the things that he explained seemed very truthful. It becomes even more believeable when he has former staff from the white house commenting on these issues. I just want to know if anyone else has seen this documentary, and if so.. what were your thoughts about it. If you have not seen this documentary.. I would highly suggest it. Here is the link:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5792753647750188322&q=terror+storm&hl=en

I would also like to repeat this, that I am not trying to come off as an anarchist, and I am not trying to offend anyone, but the facts are surprising.

It doesn't matter what anti-constitutional things Bush does for our country, republicans just go along with it and say he made a good choice.
