It doesn't matter what anti-constitutional things Bush does for our country, republicans just go along with it and say he made a good choice.

The president has a stronger allegiance to the republican party than he does to the country - it is not at all possible that the president or the republican party could really care about the best interest of this country or the we would not have the long term ongoing issues we have which are not being addressed in the interest of the average American.
A comment - usually during the 'lame duck' term of a president, you see him doing a lot of socially conscience things but I don't see that with this president. Just more of the same - more focus on big business interest and issues outside of the country. I don't believe that we should be a country of hermits (although it would be great if we could be) but why does the greater effort always seems to be focused outside instead of things that could be resolved if more attention was paid by the people in power.

Well that's a lie, I voted for Bush and I don't agree with everything he dose, especially on immigratiion and the war, but I love my country and will not do or say anything to undermine or miline this country like the Democrats and the news media, they are always saying things about this country, every thing that is going on in the world is Americas fault that is all they talk about, and I am sick of it. And the liberals are always bashing this country and the President they have no respect for this country or our President which is sickening. They want a socialist country they hate everything America stand for, and refuse to say anything good about their country, so they need to get the hell out, because they are not doing it this country any good. And Bush has not done anything anti-constitutional against this country, he has not broken any laws, but has made some bad decisions when it come to Iraq and immigration, but it dosen't mean people have to bad mouth this country and the President for every thing that is happening in the world. Name one thing or one law the Bush has broke, wire taping is not against the law they have done it in every war. The republicians don't go along with everything it was the Republicians in Congress that would not pass his immigration bill which would have been amnesty again, they stoped from passing. It was the Democrates that wanted that to pass. And the Democrats also voted for the war in Iraq, and as soon as it started to go bad, then they blaimed Bush, they had the same information he did. It is the liberals that are tearing this country apart, not just the President. Their are so many factors behind the scenes, you or I don't even no about, and the Republicians don't go along any more than the Democrats did when Clinton was in office, he bombed the hell out of Kosivo and the Dems just went along all the way, he could do no wrong. He had Bin Ladan, and let him go three times, the Dems just want along, so wise up. You have got to be a liberal to make a statement like that.

Think on this: The party base of the Republicans are evangelical Christians. Evangelical Christians have a confabulated messianic and perfectionist view of society. It doesn't matter if life is miserable here for the believers--they're all going to go the heaven and live in bliss with Jesus. It doesn't matter if non-believers are exterminated, oppressed, or living miserable lives because they re having "Christian values" shoved down their throats---its "Gods law"; all the heretics and infidels deserve what they get. So forget the laws---they don't deserve respect because they are counter to "Gods Law". Forget the unbelievers---They don't matter.

Bottom line: Until all the freethinkers; Buddhists; hippies; liberal Christians,Muslims,Hindus, etc. get together and consciously unite politically against all of the fundamentalist fanatics; their will be a distinct possibility that this nation could degenerate into a Christian version of the Ayatollah's Iran.

I do not think that is an exclusive Republican trait. The Democrats are certainly equally guilty. Both Republicans and Democrats enrich themselves with their allegiance to there respective masters (parties) and the deep pocketed lobbyists. Unfortunately, the people who elected them are low priority, except at election time. The sad truth is neither of the parties care about the people and prove repeatedly that they are unable to recognize the needs of our country. Taxation without representation is still tyranny!
