are the terrorists so strong there that Iraq has no hope? (where are the terrorists coming from... maybe we should go there?)

would Iran attack no matter what... even though it would clearly mean that the U.S. would almost certainly go back in and get involved?

I hear a lot of "Iraq doesn't have a chance if we leave"... but I don't see ANYTHING to support that?

I'm not even saying that it's wrong... I just want to see some FACTS to back up all the rampant opinion out there...

Why are so many people in the US worried about terrorism when there's a better chance of them being murdered by our own citizens?
Thousands are murdered each year in this country yet people fear and are constantly bombarded about an outside entity which may or may not strike again.
I guess murder within our own is acceptable!

I think so. That place was a cesspool of the lowest forms of humanity. My only complaint is that Katrina didn't finish the job and wipe them all out ... instead now plenty of other areas are suffering spikes in violent crime as the virus of New Orleans social culture (or lack thereof) has spread.

"California has always been a leader in a lot of different things," Schwarzenegger said. "Global warming is one of those things, not like an earthquake where there's a big bang and you say, 'Oh, my God, this is really, has hit us.' It creeps up on you. … Half a degree temperature difference from one year to the next, a little bit of rise of the ocean, a little bit of melting of the glaciers, and then all of a sudden it is too late to do something about it."

Schwarzenegger faces a re-election battle this fall, but said if Bush advisor Karl Rove were to call offering the president's help, he would decline the help because of the president's lack of popularity in California.

Will the Repugs turn on one of their own for siding with
Gore about Global Warming???

We blame George Bush for sending troups to Iraq. We blame him for everything. But who are we to blame when we reelected him again? Isn't it our fault that we affect society and ruin it?

A lot of people on the right like to defend Bush by saying that Clinton should have done this or he shouldn't have done that. Bush has been in office almost 6 years. When does it start becoming his responsibility?

The 10% are those that change their minds according to the headlines on that day's newspaper. Can the conservatives get them back by scaring their pants off before November 7th?

The only time I've actually heard him is when he hung up on Terry Gross on NPR. He certainly seemed like a pathetic cretin from that incident. So why are conservatives on his case now?? What gives?

Let me ask you, when you go and buy something "for time being" it's usually because it's not going to be a good investment keeping it long term/ fixing it continuously/ better choices with more options. Well men are like that in many ways, they do not break down fats as well as women thus not making them for endurance (short term use) and most male jobs can be done by females or reproduced in inanimate objects which are less likely to make mistakes. Thus bring up my second question, Why do they still make $1 to our every $0.80? (so this question is also political)

I'm not a sexist, a feminist, or hate men, just more out of curiosity. (Question/Thought came to me while reading ahead in my Biology and Sociology book)

I just saw an answer where a guy said liberals are weak.

Republicans have you volunteered to go to Iraq?

I volunteered to come out of the IRR to go to the Gulf War and I am a FAR left liberal female...

Take your weak-minded rhetoric to mat ppl... signup today for Iraq.

Is it just because Bush approved of Israel's actions that the Democrats turned on their long term allies?

See the link below to remind yourselves that Democrats have always been among the most ardent supporters of Israel.

http://www.washington-report.org/backissues/0794/9407041.htm

So to make a political point they treat their allies like this? Will this alienate the Jewish vote, one of the long time staples of the Democratic party?
