I just saw an answer where a guy said liberals are weak.
Republicans have you volunteered to go to Iraq?
I volunteered to come out of the IRR to go to the Gulf War and I am a FAR left liberal female...
Take your weak-minded rhetoric to mat ppl... signup today for Iraq.

IRR = Individual Ready Reserve. That is the 4 year period after you have served your normal time that you are on 'inactive' status.

I was a republican until a tour in Iraq last year. Nothing else needed to say. I never say anyone is weak. We are all Americans and I have fought beside all types or people.

I went to the 1st Gulf war and I am a conservative .
Please explain what weak minded rhetoric that you speak of .
I served and I doubt that any further service from me would help there cause , seeing how I had a combat arms MOS I would be more of a hindrance to the troops than a help .
But to be upfront I don't take it to kindly to a REMF telling me I should sign up to go back to Iraq .
If some dumb kid pissed you fine I understand BUT I served

Note Walter Ridgeley's answer. I am an independent but I am from the middle to the right politically. I HAVE voted for democrats in the past but there is ABSOLUTELY NO DEMOCRAT that I would vote for today. Joe Lieberman being the exception. I am retired from the military and have been since 1972. I am worried for our countrie's survival what with all the inane and thoughtless beliefs that come from the left.

An obvious generalization that is mostly true. Liberals are weak, not all liberals, for instance there is John Kerry, check out the biceps on him. Then there is Arnold Schwarzenegger, oh wait sorry...wrong party. Anyway there are obviously strong liberals in the world, I just can't think of any. Please edit your question & name some.
Also while you are editing, what is IRR?
& How did you volunteer to join the (Army?) if you are 39, what is the cut-off?

Republicans are not weak. That's why we are over there in the first place. Do you remember, you best girl Hillary voted for the war too. Did you forget or are you weak minded? Get you facts straight before you come out blathering false statements.
And why are you so angry?

most of the people that i know in the military are republican. i know plenty of people that have "volunteered for iraq" that are republicans. and that have some out of irr to go back! democrats do not support funding the military. reagan and bush gave military raises while clinton gave cuts. these are facts from fox news.
irr is basically the reserves, after active duty

Thank you. I'm neither republican nor democrat, but why the hell do people let such names polarize them so much. The majority of the ideas behind the two parties are the same, the politicians just choose to exploit those small differences and manipulate us with them. I'm glad you are a liberal that will stand up for the country.

I am a Republican and I served in the first Gulf War. I don't know that that makes me strong, however.
