Now that I have seen and read to many news on how the US wants to charge Canadians planes, trucks and trains that arrive in the US

I guess a nation that has too many expenses, eventually go broke.
I know I am going to get swear at, critiziced, put down as an uneducated, financially challenged person...Don't care..who ever has this thoughts, need to wake up from your fantasy world and smell the morning coffee...and get a reality check....READ....and do some RESEARCH before you blast me in to pieces..

It takes a LOT of faith to be a Republican! (And not the usual kind, either!) In order to be a Republican, you have to believe:

-- That the Muslims "hate us for our freedom!", rather than our policies in their part of the world.

-- That giving the Muslim world more reason to despise us makes us safer.

-- That the Iraq War has anything to do with the War on Terror.

-- That huge deficits are good for the economy.

-- That homosexuality is a choice.

-- That the Founding Fathers were Fundamentalists.

-- That Democrats hate America and spend every waking moment plotting to destroy it.

-- That Bush is doing a good job.

It takes a lot of energy to maintain such odd beliefs. It would be easier to deal with reality. But apparently that's the last thing they're interested in. Reality is, their policies are disastrous. That only makes sense-- what good can come from delusional beleifs?

Were jews and gypsies generally of the same political persuasion, which opposed the Nazi party? I have read some of Mein Kampf, and all I can establish from that is that Hitler was good at obsfucation and political confusion. I understand from some stories that he spent a long time as a young child being persecuted by jews in Vienna, and this is where the motivation for the Nazi's political persecution arose.

Is the general idea to rid all opposition to the party in power by starving everyone to death?

Don't you think it's funny how quick we are to judge those in office, not knowing what they know.

How do we know what is really going on?

Just because you make up a good idea for why they do what they do, do you think it's true?

I am an american citizen, and have been keeping track of the news in Mexico, about the recent election they had, in electing a new president. That state as it is, is in chaos because there is no respect, for the president, or worse, for each other. Some, of The politicians, and a lot of law enforcement officers are corrupted. If there is not going to be honest people in that country, Mexico may as well be extinct, from the planet Earth.

It has been said by some in the US that the erosion of democracy and free speech is occuring in the current administration.

What two loudly shouted cornerstones of liberal/democrat philosophy limits free speech, truth and intellectual freedom?

Do you find this hypocritical?

Oil, petroleum, black gold. Is it what cause's so many problems, just look at all the polution it creates from burning it, to spilling it. They say that just the oil that drips from cars in the U.S. in one day is equal to the Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska and it gets spilled alot around the world, especially from ship wrecks in the ocean, it is a dirty substance. Then you have to look at the money it gives to certain forces, People who use it for power from terrorist to politicians. The people who say we have this new world order coming point to old oil people who control it. From the old standard oil to all the oil conglomerates of today they wield power from behind the scenes and it breeds corruption. I for one say, lets get away from oil, find a way to not use it in your life, sell your oil burning equipment or use biofuels like vegetable oil, its alot cleaner and breaks down quickly, think about solar or wind power or a electric car. This is your chance to change course.

Or are they just a bunch of 'money-hungry bastards'?
The supply is there, but the reasons for the high oil prices are given as lack of refineries, wars, so-called 'tensions' between nations, etc. We are paying a very high price for their lack of vision and planning, or is this just a set plan to maintain high prices? And make billions in profits?

I've been following political discourse here and elsewhere on the Net. And I've learned some fascinating things about the Democratic Party! Did you know:

-- That the Democratic Party is just itchin' to confiscate rich people's money so they can lavish it on lazy immoral scum??

-- That the Democrats want to surrender this country to the terrorists??

-- That Democrats most care about protecting molesters and other degenerates, rather than children??

-- That the Democrats are "far to the left of the Communists"??

Recognize this Party? I don't either! But Republicans are so hate-filled it's driven them off the deep end, and they actually believe their own rabid spin. In contrast, all the Demos have to do is tell the TRUTH about the GOP. Maybe that's why they're so angry-- it's awareness of their own FAILURE at ruling.
This ludicrous crap about the Democrats is falling flat. You'll have to do better. Or keep preaching to the choir, and looking like loonies.

THE NEW CENSUS:
An All-Out Assault On Your Privacy

– 08-31-05 –

The federal government has quietly begun using an incredibly intrusive new census form called "The American Community Survey." Up to 1 million households a year will receive this form.

This new "census" form is 24-pages long, and demands that you lay bare every detail of your life, including how much you earn, what your home is worth, details of your health, when you leave for work, previous addresses, pregnancies, monies received from government, and on and on.

I say demand because you can be fined up to $1,000 for each of the 72 questions you don't answer or which you answer "incorrectly. " However, so far no one has been fined for not answering, nor are they likely to be if public resistance is strong.

The ways the government could use this information to harm you are mind-boggling. For instance, any financial discrepancy with IRS or Social Security records could result in your criminal prosecution. Knowing when you leave for work could enable police, acting under the Patriot Act, to secretly enter your home.

The American Community Survey also demands that you to report on the activities of relatives, employers and roommates. Joseph Stalin could hardly ask for more surveillance powers. You can download the survey at www.census.gov/ acs/www/

Article I of the Constitution allows the government to conduct a count of the American people once every ten years to determine voting districts. Nothing in the Constitution gives government the power to continuously spy on the people or probe every intimate detail of their lives.

As Congressman Ron Paul observes, questions on the American Community Survey are "both ludicrous and insulting," and this information is simply none of the government's business. I fervently hope that millions of Americans will burn their forms or accidentally lose them.

It is bad enough when they do not listen to facts. It is also bad enough when they continually re-spout of the same unsubstantiated slogans as they were proof. But it seems a recent trend is to alter copyrighted news stories to make things fit their agenda.

For example:

I beg of you, whatever party you are or stance you have, do not stand for such things. Report people like this to Yahoo Answers. Debate is one thing, this is quite another.
